Easter Treats

Happy Easter everyone. I hope you had a good day with your loved ones. I know I did. We stayed at home and just relaxed. The girls are all doing Photo 365. They started April 1st. So everyday (so far) they are excited to come up with a photo everyday. They even made an idea jar, so if they are stumped they can just grab an idea out of their jar.

I made some crafts last night...late last night. We had a competition who could stay up the latest...I won LOL.
I made these little Easter baskets for my daughters and for the girls next door. I filled them up with treats and put them out for the girls. I also snuck across the street and hung the neighbour girls on their door. I give them treats for every holiday. It is suppose to be a secret, but the mom phoned me today to thank me...So I guess I am not as sneaky as I thought I was teehee.

I also made these tiny nugget holders. I made these for Valentines day as well.
Close up shot.
These are just some candies that I put in a bag and then put a paper flap on the top after I punched it out and stamped on the back.Because I stayed up so late last night. I figured that I would make a tutorial. Bear with me on this video, I was up till after 5:00am, ya I guess I am competitive...but I won LOL.

I saw a bumper sticker yesterday that said "God doesn't believe in Atheists" At first I laughed and thought oh that is a play on words. Then as the day went on I surprisingly kept thinking of this sticker (which I am sure that was the reason the owner put it on there).
1. If Atheists don't believe in God, then why would they care either way if God believed in them. So really that is redundant.
2. If there were 2 people waiting at the "Pearly Gates" (if such a place exists) 1st person was a believer of god, but didn't have very good morals, didn't live a clean life and didn't care about the people around them....but he was a follower of god.
2nd person wasn't a follower of god, but this person had high morals, lived a clean life and cared deeply about the people around them.....but he wasn't a follower of god.
Which person would get in?
So does it really matter which religion a person believes in, or doesn't believe in for that matter. If everyone just treated each other with respect and kindness. Does it really matter who believes in what?

Hope your Sunday was spent with the ones you love.

  2. You are so incredibly talented! All of these Easter goodies are so gorgeous. The bags with the stamped flaps, the tags, the bags...beautiful! Staying up until 5 was way worth it. High five!

And I love your thoughts on that bumper sticker. So true. I think the most important part of life is to love each other, help those in need, and be the best that we can be. What's the point in judging when, ultimately, our opinions don't matter?

I've really enjoyed gettting to know your blog!
