I received my swap mini today!!!!!

I received my mini swap from Kate today. I was so excited, you can tell from the video.

Because I was so excited I forgot to show some of her beautiful tags. Here are some of the tags that I forgot to share on the video. As I opened it "live" I couldn't very well go back and redo the video, LOL. I love her stamps.

I LOVE IT Kate. It is beautiful. I soooo hope you like mine just as much as I love yours, (well mine now teehee). I have been eagerly waiting for Kate's album to arrive. I didn't even want to leave the house. It didn't come until later today, and of course I wasn't home, thankfully hubby was though. I would have been ticked knowing that it was in town and I had to wait for after the holidays to receive it.

Ok on to my day. Hubby and I worked most of the day on the wall for under the stairs. When we really looked under the stairs we noticed that the builders didn't do a very good job. They weren't very level and they started to droop. We have owned this house for almost 16 yrs. It was bran spanking new when we bought it. Well anyway before we started with the wall we fixed the stairs, and gave them better support.

I swear hubby doesn't know his own strength. We don't let him tighten anything as he strips everything. If there is furniture to be put together, we let him help but I have to tighten everything as he breaks it by tightening it to tight. My nephew got excited watching Hubby push over trees with his bare hands, and putting a chain on one of the dump trucks and pulling it out of the garage with his bare hands. I think this may have been the 2nd or 3rd hammer hubby has broken. These are not cheap dollar store hammers either. This isn't an April Fools Day picture either. It is the hammer he bent today trying go get a nail out of the cement floor.

Hubby and I have been watching our favorite Zombie movies the last couple of nights. Tonight it was a couple of oldies. "Return of the Living Dead" and remake of "Night of the Living Dead". We love scary movies. Actually I love all types of movies. There haven't been to many that I haven't watched all the way through. Well except one. I don't want to say which one as so many loved it.

So did anyone pull and April Fools Day pranks today. We didn't, which I'm surprised about. I remember when I was about 4 or 5 the neighbour girl (she babysat us) came over really early and we pulled a prank on my mom. Mom was still sleeping and we put wet black thread on the bathroom window to make it look like it was broken. I thought we were so sneaky. But mom knew and didn't play along...bummer. It looked real though, well in my 5 yr old mind it looked real anyway.

Share your best pranks with me, I need some new ones. teehee. Hope your April Fools Day was a fun one.

  2. Don't you just love getting goodies in the mail?! How exciting!

Laughing my arse off at your hubby breaking a HAMMER!!! Looks like good ol' Fred Flintstone really is a strong one, eh?! HA HA HA HA!!!

My favorite April Fool's joke is the one I posted on my blog. Silly - but funny just the same. Sprinkly baby powder into your victim's blow dryer. When the go to use it the next time - poof - instant white hair. Infantile, yes! But I like infantile! :)

  6. Remind me to never make your husband angry! That hammer photo is crazy! The book and tags are absolutely beautiful!!

I can't think of any good practical jokes. I did "confess" to my husband yesterday morning that I had secretly opened a credit card and racked up two thousand dollars on it. You could just see him trying to remain calm and telling me that we would pay it off but that it had to stop. I did enjoy screaming, APRIL FOOL'S and seeing the relief flood over him!

  7. Pretty tags! And that's so strange on the hammer! I'm not good at the April fools thing because I don't really like being tricked, so I never really want to trick anyone.
