Crop Day!

I had a fun day today. There were about 6 ladies there including me. My table was the one at the end on the right. Ya I am a messy scrapper LOL. I did try and clean up in between projects. I did 4 tags and started on the gift for Ashley's friend Michelle. The only thing was I wasn't sure what exactly I was going to do, I didn't bring some things that I wanted to use.
I think if I go again, which I probably will, I will try and make a lot of my embellishments before I go.
Lynn (the lady that invited me) and I left around 9:00. If I would have brought every thing I needed I would have liked to have stayed till the end.
Ya that's my stuff on the floor as well Teehee.
When I got home I decided it would be a good idea to clean my scrap/craft room before I unpacked. During this time I found a package of stamps, markers and stamping blocks that I bought a while ago.
This thing was insane to open. We all know how hard it is to open the heavy plastic packaging. But this was crazy. Not only did I have to cut the top part off, but then I realized that all the supplies were individually sealed. See all those circles? They seal off the products from each other.
Seriously Fiskars what were you thinking!
My fingers are sore and I think I may have put my wrist out. LOL. I was considering throwing the whole lot in the garbage stamps and all.

Before I went to my crop, hubby and I went to Canadian Tire and bought a BBQ for camp. He got to spend money there after all. LOL.
It only took him over 2 hours to put the BBQ together. That's not bad, the last one we bought, took him 4 hours to put together.
Luckily I wasn't home to help him teehee.
Then hubby and the girls spent the day together. He took them to DQ for ice-cream. Then they went all over and took pictures, then he took them to Wendy's for supper.
I need to go out more often, I am sure the girls would like that.

I will post what I worked on tomorrow, as I need to tweak a few of my projects.

Hope your Saturday was as creative as mine :)

  1. Your crop looks so fun. I also hate the hard plastic packaging. It takes the fun out of getting something new because it is so hard to get it out the package.

  2. Oh I get it! You can get other stuff besides tires at Canadian Tire. I was wondering about that. Maybe it's like a Home Depot?

    I hate those packages too.

  7. Tracy,
It sounds like you all had a great afternoon. Isn't it funny how our husbands can take so long picking out stuff they want, but yet they stare at us when we can't decide what paper we want to use. LOL
Glad ya had a great day
