Working hinders my inner creativity.

I didn't get any crafty time in at all today. Unless you think booking keeping is crafty, then I crafted my @ss off. LOL.
I worked all day. I don't know why anyone would want to do this for a living. Working sure gets in the way of my fun time. Unless you are like my hubby, he loves his work. He loves to drive his loader and move material (dirt) around. I don't get it but it makes him happy.

I have so many things I want to get done. I want to finish my mini book for my nephew and video and edit the tutorial for it.
I was asked to make a note pad holder for my daughters friend, which I am looking forward to as I have never done one of these.
I want to make my daughters friends each a 3x3 mini album with pictures of them during their 3 yrs of collage together. I wanted this done tomorrow, but that isn't going to happen as I haven't even got the pictures developed.
I volunteered to do some video taping for hubby's cousin. She is making a video for her mom's BDay of the family sharing memories of her. That has to be done by Friday.
The girls want me to make them a dress for some photo shoots that they have planned.
I haven't even started the purses that I bought the patterns for when we went to the States.
Plus I still haven't finished my book from last month. (I also have a list of books from Amanda- I Am..the Panda's blog).

I love to have a list of things to do. I thrive on lists.
Well I am not finished my work quite yet, so I know what I will be doing tomorrow.
Ashley is having two of her college friends over tomorrow afternoon, that is why I wanted to make these mini's. They will just get them later than I had planned.

Hubby fell asleep on the couch waiting for me to go to bed. He is such a baby LOL. He is snoring up a storm. Hope he gets it out before I go to bed.
Ashley and I went for a late night walk tonight. It was a tad chilly. I got an ear ache from the cold.

So what have you done today to make you feel proud?

Tracy

  1. There are never enough hours in a day, huh?

I have way too much to do....and I stay home! Where's the logic in that? I must be doing something wrong here...oh, I know....this COMPUTER.

  2. I got to take care of my son today, bad cold, fever and all that good stuff. He's 8 so when he wasn't on the PS3 he was sleeping. So, I grabbed my Super Mommy Cape, dusted off the Spiced Oatmeal and made him a Smoothie and Special Veggie Mock Meat Spicy Stew! That unclogged his itty bitty nose! Yep, didn't even touch my crafty stuff! Although he did want to make another crafty video with me. Mmmmm sneezing on my paper!

Aren't you glad you asked! Oh and my Mom is a Book Keeper!

  4. Tracy,
Oh my what a list you have. My gosh almost as bad as mine. What I did today. UGH, spring cleaning. Yick, double yick. Pulled out the fridge, bleached the counters and doors in the kitchen, laundry and the other not so fun stuff we do daily.
I did manage to sew two doll bodies. i still have more to do.
Thank you on the comments on my blog. I really appreciate it. I do value your opinion as you are very good at what you do. My comment back might make ya giggle.
    Have a great week

  5. Wow! You are a busy chica! What did I do yesterday to make me feel proud? Well, I finally did it. I painted the face on the doll that I've been avoiding because I'm so afraid of doing faces. Actually, I have her almost finished now!!! I'm super excited! She came out really cute and I love her sweet little face!!!

  6. I need lists to function. NEED! I'm sorry that work is standing in the way of your creativity.

I slept in today. Which was much needed after waking up at 4:00 yesterday to work from 6:00am-8:00pm. I'm proud I turned of my alarm and slept until my body woke up!

  7. I worked 12+ hours yesterday, but since I'm demonstrating Cricuts it was pretty good.

  8. Wow you are very busy! I actually cooked dinner early today like at 11 AM so that I can just throw my food into the oven before my husband comes home. This will help me to sneak in some extra crafting time to work on Mother's Day projects :)

  11. I worked on a revision of my manuscript and I took my dog to the dog park for 3 hours. She was exhausted when we got home so now I can work a bit more.

Just wanted to also say that I really enjoy your blog. I check it every day even if I don't comment often.

I used your pattern for the envelope mini book for my Mom for Mother's Day. I put pictures of my dog in it and called it Nanny's Brag Book. She's going to get a kick out of it.
