Orange you glad you stopped by :)

This is what I woke up to this morning.
Eerie isn't it. It made me think of Silent Hill. It was so foggy, just thick with fog. Then it rained most of the day. Now think of it water on top of ice. Not good. Now the temperature is getting chilly, so rain + cold = icy roads. Hope it doesn't get to that though.
I didn't get any creative time in today. I have to work this week so no creating for me this week :(
Look what I found today. Christmas Oranges, yummy. The 1st of the season. Because I will be working and balancing month end, so my December doesn't start until next week :) Mind you that means a week less of preparing for the holiday.
On to my day:
I had a lot of running around to do today. Then Ashley wanted me to go to the mall on her lunch break so she could pick out a new Christmas outfit for me. Nothing looked good on me. Well there was one blouse that wasn't to bad.
Is there a way to loose 10 lbs by Christmas??? Nah I didn't think so.

I want to thank everyone who follows and reads my blog. Your comments put a smile on my face. They really do. And I have needed that the last couple of days.
I want to also thank my newest followers. I have tried to click on you picture in my followers box and it doesn't show me your blog. So I can't visit yours. So I want to say thank you.

Tomorrow I will show you how much I appreciate you all.
So what have you done today to make you feel proud?
1. Finished all my running around today.
2. Made supper everyday. Ya we have turkey leftovers, but I still had to warm them up and make new potatoes, teehee.
3. Holding back from saying something to someone that has hurt me.
4. Got a few Christmas gifts.
Your turn.

Tracy

  2. Drink a large glass of water every time you want to eat :) My DH told me that to curtail my nonstop eating :)

  3. Very pretty! I'm holding off on those oranges since by the time Christmas hits my kids boycot them! Have you tried the Mini's? My son loves them!

  4. I think it is a pretty picture, Tracy. I don't think fog is eerie looking, I think it is calming and soothing and makes you look at things differently. At times, you can see things in the fog, you wouldn't ordinarily see.

I haven't been able to create either. All in good time. You hang in there, so sorry that the past couple of days have not been good.

Tis the season and there will be time for you to prepare for Christmas.

    Cheers,
    Tonya

  7. Interesting coincidence you used the word eerie to describe the fog. I just used it on my blog post, to describe my dog's resemblence to a wolf. Wish I knew photo shop because I'd put him on your photo, for a double eerie effect. The fog does have a comforting feel about it though. Today was a less than proud day, but there is the promise of tomorrow :).

  10. So I like the picture but I definitely get the Silent Hill reference - just need some ashes falling from the sky! Hope the roads aren't too bad - we get more icy roads than snow here so I know what you're going through! Have a great day today!

  16. Definitely an eerie photo but kind of cool at the same time. Today I was proud that I added a little to my Dec. Daily, volunteered in 4th grade and made dinner. Today is visiting with my mom! Have a great Wednesday!

  19. Happy December, Tracy. Like your photos a lot. I have been working the last 2 days--12 hour shifts. My grandbabies came over this morning to get their advent calendar house with all its goodies. Have been eating those Christmas oranges the last week-yummy. Hope your week is going well.
