Zombies and Christmas Cards

Check out my Give Away Here.

Today was an awesome day.
I slept in, put on my jammie pants, watched zombie shows and made Christmas Cards ALL DAY LONG. Loved it!

I think this is one of my favourite card I did today. I made the swag with the Martha Stewart branch punch.
I punched out 15 branches of each the light and dark green. Then alternated the colours and glued them on a piece of green card stock. Then tied a bow, glued that to the center and added some sparkle to the branches to look like holly berries.
I used my cuttle bug embossing folder for the background.
I used my Spellbinders Fancy Tags for the die cut.
I again used the Martha Stewart branch punch for the wreath. I made these wreaths last year on some cards as well. I love the punch.
I used some circle thingies (that could be the name :) that I coloured with alcohol inks for the holly berries. The sentiment is from the $1.50 stamps from Michael's.
This is the image I coloured in that Marlene gave me. I figured I might as well use it.
I am not to sure about this one.
I bought this Tim Holtz die and I haven't used it yet. I'll try it again. Maybe if I use different colours maybe I will like it more.
Any suggestions? So I am off to watch the season finale of The Walking Dead.

Hope you all had a good creative weekend.

Tracy

  3. Very pretty! It never occurred to me to watch zombie movies (or anything else, actually) while card making! I seriously thought when I clicked over here that you were going to have Christmas cards with zombies on them. :-) And no suggestions on that last one, because it's actually just about my favorite of the group!

  20. OOOOOO! Aaaaaaaah! I love your cards! I never did get my hands on that MS punch. I'm thinking I may need that spellbinders fancy label die though. I wish I had your day. I went back to work and am working on my 3rd load of laundry. Yes, yes I did overdo it a little today. Now I'm vegging on the computer watching my kids push each other around in a wheeled office chair.
