Steampunk Envelope Mini...Done :)

I finally finished my Steampunk Coin Envelope Mini :)
I am really happy with how it turned out. I will post still photo's another day, like when we are at the hotel bored because the stores are closed ;0
Day 24 of 31 days of video's.

This will be a short post. Ya I don't believe it either, teehee. But I have to pack yet.

Onto my day: This morning I was up to going for a drive with hubby. We grabbed some hot chocolate, then went to check on the deer on the island. If you look close you can see the frost on this little guys face.

I had to pick some stuff up for the company, then I got a call that the book I was waiting for came in. The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo. I hope it is good. My step mom, Doreen wants to know my opinion on it.

I did have scrapbooking tonight. I didn't do a page, but I did work on something real cute to share with you tomorrow, Becky knows what it is ;)

Off to pack. Hope you all had a creative Friday....yeah it's Friday :)

  2. OMG Tracy,
I knew just by your work that this would be stunning but OMG you blew me away again.
It is so pretty and the lady with the gears reminds me of you.... really.
The art journal page is my favorite beside the corset. I love them both. I don't blame you for keeping it but if you grow tired of it I would be more then happy to find a home for it. HERE! Tee hee
Thanks for sharing. have a great trip and don't buy your surprise while you are gone! LOL

  5. Very cute deer! Everybody seems to love those books. The titles have never appealed to me, but maybe I should try one anyway!

  9. Out of all the steampunk albbums that I have seen I have to say I love this one best. I just love your corset page. Don't ever say that you can't draw because that is just gorgeous. I agree with the other poster, you should keep this for yourself as there is so much work that has gone into it but hey, if you are looking for a home, I got one to give it. LOL Hope you are having a wonderful trip.

  12. I forgot to say, The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo is an awesome book! But be prepared to do nothing for about 48 hours because the book will suck you in and you won't be able to put it down. (once you get past the first couple of chapters. Ha!)

  16. Great picture of the deer! I am so jealous you always get such great pictures of them!!

I hope you enjoy the Girl with the Dragon Tattoo. The ladies in my book club really enjoyed it and a few of them are even reading the 2nd and 3rd! I can't wait to hear what you think!

  17. Holy cow Tracy...Im so impressed, (and yes, you can definitely be impressed with yourself)! I love all of it, the charms you made are fantastic and I LOVE how you used the clock hands for the butterfly, so clever!!

  18. I don't even know where to start with this! First, I love that you didn't use a bunch of ribbons on all the tags. THAT drives ME nuts! I love the wire, those cool little black clips & the little strings were perfect. I think if you didn't put any journaling or pictures in this book, I could still look at it for hours just drooling over all the details of your artwork! You definitely made a questionable paper line into one that everyone is going to want now!! You should at least send this to them before the new CHA stuff starts coming out very soon.

  20. Absolutely beautiful mini! And I feel bad for the deer. He looks so cold. I just started reading The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo. So far so good but I'm not that far into it yet.

  23. Your album is awesome! Love how it turned out, and YES - you are allowed to be impressed with yourself. :) I think steam punk is growing on me a little too - not my style, but I do like the lady with the gears and some of the dress form images. Thanks for another great video.
