Reality Check....

Look at these adorable works of art.
I bought them from my friend Kim, you all know her as MrsMorris.
I bought them for part of Heather's Birthday gift. Heather loved them.
I love my girls. I said to Heather "I wonder if I could make something like this?" Her reply..." Oh Mom you can, you can do anything."
I love that they have so much confidence in me :)
Onto My Day:

I went to pick up a prescription with Ashley today. There was a blood pressure machine there, so I thought I would check mine.
I shouldn't have :(I guess this is an eye opener.
I went to my Reformer class tonight. This is so much fun, I really enjoy it. I know that is just a beginner class, and it will get more difficult as the classes progress, but I think I will enjoy it the whole way through.
But I need some cardio to help with these numbers and to keep my heart nice and strong.

I have a project that I want to alter. So I went downstairs and realized that I didn't put away my supplies. I just kind of left everything on my work table, and left other supplies in the bags that I used to transport them up and down the stairs.

So my plan was to tidy up my room and get to work on my project. Well that didn't work to well. I came upstairs to put some papers in the recycling, then saw my nail polish on the table, so figured I would try to do a french manicure (that wasn't to successful). Then did some book work. Then took a nap. Then had to start supper.
One thing led to another, so I didn't even pick out the paper I was going to use, lol.
Yup that is my mind, I can not stay on task, lol

Proud Tuesday:
1. Cleaned my craft room :)
2. Took my Reformer Class
3. Was there when my adult daughter needed me.
4. I shoveled the driveway

What have you done today to make you feel proud?

Tracy

  1. I picked my oldest, Maverick, up from school early after CSAP testing was over :0) We then went and had a visit with my mom for an hour and a half and had to get the other boys and put dinner in the oven. I got to go downstairs and put a huge dent in the album I am working on so I guess I had a really good day. My mind does the same thing yours does, more often than not :0) Don't worry...it will find it's way back...when you are sleeping :0)

  2. First...I love your little charms! SUPER adorable!

Second...girl, get that blood pressure checked out by your doctor. If that's a good reading, that's high....too high.

Sounds like you had a productive day. I can so relate to you on the staying on task thing.
Today, I took my youngest kids over to have lunch with their dad for his birthday. This just made the day special.

  5. Yep, you could make them. They are easy peasy and I can tell you how. Of course, no one really told me how so it was lots of trial and error. Which you, my dear CC, can benefit from! Glad they finally made it, and that Heather likes them :).

  10. For some reason, I see another addiction coming :) About the BP, Mike has been on medicine since he was 26. Diet and exercise didn't help him, it was genetics that did him in. I know you probably don't want to go on meds, but probably best to see your doctor. Glad you got your craft room cleaned up. Now it's ready for some crafting TODAY!!!

  13. Whew! Shoveling snow is a cardio workout in an of itself! Can't wait until the snow leaves us for another year. We are getting more tomorrow. Ugh!
Thanks for your kind comment on my blog. I always look forward to reading them! And I agree with Heather and say that you could give that cardmaker some competition! :-)

  14. Love the charms! Unfortunately, I didn't get much done today. I was in bed with a bad back, a sick daughter, then ended up in urgent care last night with daughter getting even worse. Hopefully, today will be a more productive day.

  16. Beauitful pieces of art... and such confidence from your kids. Things I am proud of today, I went to parents evening at school and am proud of my kids. I need more focus for tidying too, not one of my strengths!

  18. Happy Hump day, Tracy.
Just checking in after working a couple of days.
Those works of art are very lovely. And yes, you probably could make them too.
Keep an eye on your blood pressure. Those machines always aren't accurate.
Sorry to hear you are still getting snow--a little more spring-like here right now. Warmer temps are coming your way.
