A little retail therapy :)

First thing I want to say is Thank You so much for your positive vibes and prayers for good news at my Cardiologist appointment today.
Unfortunately, it didn't go to well.
It showed that my heart is weak, there isn't enough blood flow on the one side of my heart, plus he couldn't read the one part of my test accurately because of my LBBB. So he wants me to go for an angiogram. I had an angiogram about 7 yrs ago. He doesn't think there is any blockages as my cholesterol is good......Damn Family Genes!!!

So because I was bummed about the appointment, I figured I should cheer myself up :)
So I went to my local scrap booking store and had a little retail therapy.
Yup I am a glass is full type of girl, teehee.
Because of my crappy test results Heather figured I needed some laughs, so we watched a few episodes of the Big Band Theory. Perfect solution for a not so good day :)
Proud Tuesday:
I came to the conclusion today to do as much as I possibly can to help strengthen my heart and my health.
Didn't let this day take me down.
Trying to master my cricut...ok, maybe that is a bit to far....trying to learn more about my cricut, :) .
Proud that my girls are so caring, thoughtful and unselfish.

What have you done today to make you feel proud?

Tracy

  17. I'm sorry to hear about your crappy results but I think the retail therapy was great medicine. Just make sure to take care of yourself so I have your blog to read! lol BTW your almost as critical of your own work as I am and you should have entered that card. It was adorable. I was just reading Jennifer McGuire's blog and she was showing a card that almost went into the trash because she didn't like it. Hero Arts put it on the cover of their catalog. Just goes to show you that other people have a different perspective.

  31. I've been trying to leave a comment for the past three days using my iPhone and have finally figured it out.

I'm sorry to hear the news of your heart. I sure hope there is something that can be done.

Your cards make me happy when I see them and I loved watching your tutorial on the diaper cupcake. Awesome photo your girls made fir your Mother's Day gift. And I also read about your tarped roof on the camping property. See I've been keeping up, just couldn't get this crazy thing to work.

Take care of yourself my new friend :-)

  33. Cute cupcake card, you had a lot of layers to deal with. Delighted to hear that someone else talks to herself and the cat. My DH makes fun of me sometimes wondering who I"m talking to. It is such a great way to sort out your thoughts.

Hugs to you as you continue with a chronic illness. Keep doing what makes you happy, it will keep you well!
(tried to post this on another post and I don't think it took)
