Copic Marker Journal.

I finally finished a project today :)
It seems like everyone is in some kind of creative funk lately, and I am one of them.
But I popped "Bones" in the laptop and just went to work. It was wonderful :)
I finished this Copic Journal. I am so happy with how it turned out :)
I can't wait to get my new copics to fill in the colours.

I know a lot of you don't have time to watch the video's I put up, so I will share some photo's I took of them.
Here is the front of the book. I wanted to really decorate this baby up, but it will be going in my purse, so I thought I would keep it simple as not to lose any embellishments.

On the inside cover, I put a pocket to put notes to any future copic markers I need to purchase. I also put in a piece of acetate to put behind the page I am colouring on. I also made this tag/book mark, so I can save my page that I am working on.

This tab has the marker colour families. Then the blank spaces to colour them in behind it.

Behind this cover page, I have a place to try colour combination that I like. I never write down the colours that I use when I colour in my image. So this way I can play with them and then have them at my fingertips :)
I seem to colour a lot of images of girls. So this one is perfect for me. I can document the colours I use for different colour combinations for their hair and skin tone.

Onto My Day:
Last night I woke up and 4:15am and tossed and turned. Then had cramps (oh the joy of being a woman). So I never did fall back asleep until just before 6:00am. Then Hubby calls to me at 6:10 as his nephew that was suppose to pick him up for work, slept in.
So I was a little foggy today ;)
I did get to create today, so all is good :)

Thankful Thursday:
I got to create!!!!
Rose didn't have any accidents for a couple of days. Lets hope it was a one time deal.
The fresh fruit stand near our home.
Toasted tomato sandwiches

Hope you had a creative day today.

  6. What a neat journal! I'm still debating whether I should take the Copic plunge. I think I'd need to see one in 'action', so to speak.

  8. Love the journal! I would make it as well but I only order my copics online. (In fact I order almost all of my stuff online LOL.) I can't find a better price and I order at least $50 to get free shipping and no tax. I just placed two huge orders and will probably place another one soon. MUST STOP SHOPPING! BTW I ended up using a 3 tiered spice rack that attaches to the cabinet door for my wood stamps. I filled it up with my small collection of stamps. Good thing I bought 2!

  19. So pretty! I wish my recipe box were even a third that organized. I made pancakes this morning for the-guy & I swear I spent longer looking for the recipe than I did actually mixing the ingredients! I'm not even kidding. I need to get my recipes under control. Anyway, it's beautiful!
