We are off to Minneapolis :)

Well we made it here to Minneapolis safe and sound. And by sound I mean, no alarms went off. Sorry to disappoint, because I know you all wanted to hear that they did :)
I picked up these beauties on this side of the border :) :)
My precious.
Now I know a lot of you ladies say that Georgia Pacific paper is pretty good for practicing with your copics. Well I have been unable to find this paper...until now!!
But I for some reason I don't think this will work. For one thing it is too thin.
But then again I don't think it is 110 lb weight, lol.
 Onto My Day:
We left the house at about 7:00am.
It was a hot one today. The temperature went up to 37C.
We kind of got lost on the way, lol. We ended up in Wyoming, lol.  Just Kidding.
We went to Scrapbooks Too, Burnsville Mall, Michael's, Barnes and Nobles and Target.
We also had supper at Red Lobster :)  Yummy.

Here are my purchases from Michael's.
Here are my purchases from Scrapbooks Too
Tomorrow Mall of America and Archiver's :)

Off to put my new colours in my Copic Journal :)

  1. Hi Tracy,

Enjoy your trip. Was just in Toronto last week. So jealous your going to Mall of America and Archiver's. Haven't been to either.

Jealous of all your Copics. Want to jump on the bandwagon but have no idea where to start. Any suggestions.

  4. LOL! You are too funny! Yes, I agree, that will be a bit thin, but I can give you a couple of stamping techniques that use it! Have fun shopping!

  9. Ha Ha Ha about the Georgia Pacific! It actually took me a few minutes to put the paragraph and the picture together. Only me.

I'm glad to hear you are doing more shopping because I thought, "Geez all that way just to pick up a couple of things from Michael and a local SB store (I see those new Magnolia's there!)" Of course you're talking to an impulsive/compulsive shopper. Hope you are having fun at the MOA and Archivers. We don't have one even semi close to me. *pouts*

  10. Oh too funny! That's all I ever used to associate Georgia Pacific with until someone said they made card stock too. Yeah, I 'm sure the TP wouldn't make a great surface. I'm jealous of your copic collection! I have one, yes just one! Glad you are having a fun and busy summer:)

  11. That picture of the toilet paper cracked me up. I wish I lived closer to the border. I live way down in Arizona, the only border I live close to is Mexico and they don't have any of the stores I want to go to.

  12. I had to do a double take on the toilet paper! LOL!

    Have fun shopping, girly!

  13. ROFLMFFAO!!!!!!!!! I love how you tell your stories. I started to laugh when I read that you got lost and ended up in Wyoming. Man, that is pretty lost! (yes, I know you're only kidding). That's a nice bunch of Copics you got yourself there. And I was wondering how Georgia Pacific paper couldn't be heavy enough until I saw the photo. Very cute! Have a fun and safe time on our side of the border!

  15. OH,my gosh, Tracy
Glad you are in MPS safely.
You are too funny girl. The only bathroom photo I have taken was at Disneyland--where in one of the bathrooms, the doors were like playing cards. I couldn't help it.
You have one boat load of copics now, my friend.
Have fun shopping at Archivers. I was in that store last summer on our drive back from London.
Cait and I went shopping today and found some great bargains.
