Truck fire....not a fire truck

Yummy :)
Kristy made Finn pancakes for supper.
Then she made a special one for me, with my hand picked blueberries ;)

Wayne worked real late tonight, I was getting worried. He has been working till 8:00pm but he still wasn't home after 9:00pm.
Well a truck caught on fire tonight. No one was hurt, thankfully.
Actually the truck was parked for over 2 hours (as the work day was over at 5:00) and then a little after 7:00 the hood just burst into flames.
Alan (Wayne's brother) was at the main plant and saw the flames and tried to put it out with a fire extinguisher, but the fire spread.
Wayne just happen to come back from another pit at this time, so he and Alan, grabbed the keys for the other trucks and moved them out of the way.
Thankfully they were around as all the trucks are parked close together, so they would all have probably gone up. And maybe even the garage.
The volunteer fire department came by to help put the fire out.

Onto My Day:
Today I worked on my Halloween mini album.
Watched the City of Ember while I was working on it. Yesterday's movie was Under the Tuscun Sun.
So much for my clean scrap/crafting work table ;)
Chatted with a friend on the phone....about a 2 hour convo ;)

Hope you all had a creative Monday :)

Tracy:)

  15. Wow, that's just crazy. Glad no one was hurt and I hope there wasn't too much damage.

That pancake looks scrumptious! We went out for pancakes Sunday night, with out the kids (it's the first time in about a year)! And then we went to Lowes. Our 10th anniversary was on the 13th so I joked that this was our date night. I think my husband believes it really was LOL.

  19. Pancake looks divine - never had Finnish ones! Truck fire looks bad. Glad someone was there to take care of all the others! That sure could have been a terrible scene if the others would have caught fire too. WOW!
