Last Week of my He-Art challenge.

WEEK 23 - A Letter to Myself
Assignment: Create a spread or a page that is dedicated to you. It may be a note to yourself, a summary of your accomplishments this year, etc.

I cannot believe this is the last day of the challenge. Thank you Becky and Steph for encouraging me to play along with you guys....even though you both bailed on me, lol. Just kidding, not.
Here are my pages for this weeks challenge.
I took this challenge to write a note to myself at different stages of my life.

One thing with doing this challenge is I seem to do my journaling at night.
For some reason at night my mind seems to be more free or truthful.
Then I read what I wrote in the morning and that a bit to personal?
Some times I change some wording and other times not.

I inked the background with distress ink.
Then stamped some stamps that I really like.
Did the journal blocks with recipe cards (no surprises there :)
Then inked them in other distress colours.

Onto My Day:
Wayne and I were going to go to camp to bring the quad up.
But it snowed all night and all day. It is about a 2 hour drive and all highway driving, so we decided to wait until tomorrow. I'm bringing my ski pants, cause I'm going quading, teehee.
Never drove in the snow before. It is sure to be fun :)

Went to Future's to exchange some gifts.
Went to get some groceries.
Ashley and Kristy went shopping (Ashley bought a nice coat). Then Ashley brought Kristy to her boyfriends house.
Ashley went to her boyfriends uncles house for supper.
Heather played video games and watched some of her seasons she got for Christmas. She was happy to get all television all to herself all day.

I am still plugging away on my Project 365...I am on the month of May now.
And you thought you were behind Katie, teehee.

Hope you had a creative Thursday :)

Tracy :)

  1. Great job making it through 23 weeks!! I like honest journaling =)

  2. Yay for making it to the end. How wonderful that you shared so much of yourself with all of us. For me personally it was very uplifting and inspiring, so thank you. My art journal project starts on the first and it's two projects a month for an entire year, a lot of drawing painting and healing going on next year.

Good luck on your 365. I'm not ready to tackle that yet even though this year would be a great year to do it. Maybe I'll do a monthly thing instead of an everyday or weekly thing.

Have fun playing in the snow!

  3. Yahoo, I can't believe we made it to the end! Oh wait, it was just you that made it to the end. Lol! You have done an awesome, awesome job with this project. I know you were unsure about it, but holy crap, look at everything you put into this! It's really something to be proud of! Let's not talk about the S word. Other than the dusting we had a few weeks ago, they are saying we might not get any until mid January. WTH is going on here? :) Me likey!

  4. Love the note-to-yourself pages! I had to do something similar in the art journaling group I belong to too! I had to write TWO letters, though.. One to 2011, and then one to 2012!.. And I had to choose a word for the New Year, which seems to be more common a practice than I'd even ever heard of!.. Anyways, have fun at camp with the quad!.. And best wishes to you for a blessed and very Happy New Year! ~tina

  5. Good job on finishing your heart journaling. Looks like another awesome page you created.
We haven't had much snow--just wind, wind, wind!!!
They are getting some snow up in the northwest, in the mountains.
Have fun up at your cabin.

  6. Great job for finishing until the end! Have fun at camp!

  8. I love that you wrote notes to yourself in your journaling! And congratulations on finishing your journal :)

I'm glad I'm not the only one still working on the warmer months...I just found some pictures from over the summer I thought I scrapped, but no, no I did not! Oh well, we will both catch up eventually!

  9. Wow, the last one! Good for you in sticking it out!
