Snowman Soup Confusion

I thought I should clear up the "snowman soup" confusion.
It is not soup, but hot chocolate :)
So they could be considered one of the same...
They are both hot,
both taste delish
and both comforting ;)

This is how I put them together this year.
I give them to everyone who visits us during the holiday's :)
Plus I add them to the gifts I give.

Very easy to put together.
I put the powder of the hot chocolate mix in the disposable icing bag.
Then add some chocolate chips and mini marshmallows.
Tie it up with a ribbon and add a candy cane and the verse.

Here is how I put them together last Christmas

Onto My Day:
I didn't make one card today :(
I ended up doing a video on Becky's mini album that I made for my Appreciation Draw.
I will post it once she receives the mini album.
Chatted on the phone with a friend for a couple of hours :)
Reviewed my Christmas list :)
Put together the parcels I want to mail out on Monday.

Hope you all had a creative Saturday :)

Tracy :)

  1. Very cute Tracy. I like that mug, it reminds me of the cat in the hat, Hat! LOL
I like these a lot. I always make my hot chocolate. I like to add mint flavoring for the boys and make coffee creamer for the girls. I will try and post the recipe on my blog.
Off to watch pillars of the earth. Love that show.

  3. I love this! This is what I want to put into my fry boxes.... I forgot that th marshmallows are a part. When my kids were much smaller, a gf gave some to the kids.
Where did you find the cone shaped bags? I am using hot chocolate packets and small SU bags for the marshmallows.

  12. I love the idea of the snowman soup :0) We don't get a lot of visitors so I have no need to make it and the boys drink hot cocoa and marshmallows all winter anyway so no need to package it up for them :0) I've tried drinking it and still prefer my cappuccino, which by the way am still allowed to drink since there is only 42mg of caffeine in my 12oz cup at home. This doesn't apply to Starbucks however, I don't go there very often anyway and when I do it's not for the coffee's :0) Hugs!

  13. I love snowman soup. It's a great little treat for kids or add a mug and it's a great little gift. I never thought to use disposable icing bags. Can't you get them in your Michael's? That is usually where I get mine.

  15. Oh THANK YOU Tracy!! This was the idea I needed. I don't know why I didn't think of it before, but it will work out great to pass out to Brooke's class! It just so happens that I already purchased some little zip bags with snowmen on them, the mini candy canes and a fresh bag of marshmallows. All I need now is the cocoa and make up the poems/labels! I already have some other food safe mini bags for the marshmallows. My work is half done already! I was trying to figure out what I was going to have to buy to fill 28 baggies!! You are a lifesaver!
