Perfect, unperfect day

Today was not a perfect day, but it wasn't an unperfect day either.
First let me share my card for today.
I stamped this cute CC Designs image and coloured her with my...you guessed it, Copic markers ;)

I then fussy cut her out and placed her on the fence, which I also coloured with my copics and fussy cut.
I really like how the flowers turned out....but then again you know I am loving the pink and burgundy colour combination right now.
I also added my sparkle pen to her wings.

I just punched these flowers out of card stock and formed them in the palm of my hand and added a sparkle gem to the center.

I love these flags or banners I cut out of this paper.
My idea for using these, was that I was going to make a card and put a banner on the front with the recipients  birth date. Until I realized that the numbers only go from "1 - 6". Kind of hard to make one for anyone born in the 1900's or the even the 2000's for that matter.

Onto My Day:
Remember my rash?
Well, its gone, but when I first got it, my girlfriend teased me that it was from the measles or something. I laughed it off telling her my immunizations were up to date.
Then I thought I'd check as I thought I am due to get one this year or next year.
I was suppose to get it done in 2007!!!
The last one I received was in 1997. Holy crapola!!
So that is what I did today. I got immunized. Now my arm is tender :(

Hope you all had a creative Wednesday :)

Tracy :)

  3. Your coloring is fantastic! I need to get practicing again. We are going to look at the house we want to buy again tomorrow because we "heard" there may have been another offer so we have 48 hours to decide to remove our contigency to sell our house first when we hear from our lawyer so we may be moving sooner than I thought. Sorry babbling. Sorry about your poor arm but at least now you can't catch cooties from any more hot tubs!

  10. I Love how the flowers turned out too! The whole thing is darling! You did a fantastic job on the fussy cutting too!

Glad to hear that your rash is gone. There has been a small outbreak of measles in our state since the Super Bowl was here last month. There were some people from Europe that apparently were not immunized and had it when they were in for the game. Contagious disease...huge number of people, not a good combination. At least you can feel better about being protected now!

  18. Love the card Tracy! The deeper colors are perfect. Rashes are going around because I have one on my back and it's driving me nuts. I'm pretty sure it's not the measles (wink) so I'm not running out for a shot but I sure hope it passes quickly like yours did.

  23. Beautiful coloring! So happy (not) to read about the immunizations. I'm getting to that age where I'm sure I need to have the big ol needle again...fortunately they've done away with the gun looking thing they used to use way back when:)!!
