I scream, You scream, We all scream for ice-cream :)

Are you drooling, teehee.
Hubby and I went to get some groceries and such for camp then I decided we should go for ice-cream:)
We wanted to go to Merla Mae, but the line up was crazy long.
So we went to Dairy Queen and got a chocolate dipped :)
You may have noticed that this ice-cream isn't chocolate dipped. Well, I forgot my camera so I nabbed this photo from my daughter Ashley's Face book page, as she and her boyfriend went yesterday ;)

Onto My Day:
I have completed my mini album :)
It is traveling to the UK. I did a video but don't want to download/upload (I still don't know the difference, lol) the video until my swapping friend receives it.

I ran to Chapters to look for the newest Magnolia magazine, they didn't have it :(
But I did pick up the newest Canadian Scrapbooker magazine.  When I went to pay, they asked for my IRewards card. Well it had expired and you have to pay for it so I wondered if it was worth it to renew it again.
The teller tells me that I had spent over $900.00 on books last year. I was like WHAT!
I know it wasn't just my purchases. My girls love to read as well.....but $900.00. Damn we really love to read :)

I spent the afternoon looking after my great nephew. He is such a sweetie.
He didn't want to get up from his nap when he woke up, but he also didn't want me to leave his room, lol.
So when he got upset the first time, I snuggled with him in the rocking chair. Ohhhh I miss snuggling a sleepy baby. I don't think my girls would care to snuggle with me in a rockin' chair anymore.  They do think I am off my rocker though ;)

Hope you all had a creative Thursday :)

Tracy :)

  2. I love snuggle time with the grandbabies. I think if Cait could fit on my lap she would still snuggle. She gets very jealous of H&N snuggle time.
I can't wait to see your mini album, either.
Have a great weekend at your cabin.

  11. I finally got caught up on your blog. :-)

Love the mini you have been working on. I'm sure your friend in the UK will be thrilled to get her hands on it :-)

Holding a sleeping child is one of the very best things in the world. Even when an arm goes to sleep holding the previous child :-)

Glad your number crunching fell into place and you can put that away for another few weeks.

    Love you - Leslie

  13. I have a tall, lanky 8 year old son who still loves to snuggle. I love it when he folds up his knobby-knees legs to fit in my lap!

  15. Mmmm...we went to get ice cream yesterday, too.
I didn't get my own cone trying to be good, but of course was able to finish off Erin's birthday cake ice cream!
    That is soooo good :)

Even though Erin is going to be 5 this summer, we still like to snuggle. But I know one day that won't be the case!
