Mummy and Zombies... a perfect day

Here is the second card that I had made on Friday night :)
I have had this image for a while now, but haven't inked him up until now.
I really like the pattern paper so I didn't want to cover it up.
So after I adhered the image to the paper I just added a dimensional sticker that I had picked up from the dollar store last year or so.

This is a CC Designs image and I coloured it up with my Stampin' Up markers.
I did his face with my Copics but was very careful as I stamped the image with StazOn ink...and we know StazOn and Copics don't work well together.
I drew in the grass and added those tiny pumpkins. The pumpkins (or jack-o-lanterns) came from a border strip that I had just cut apart.

The inside of the card.
Pattern paper and back to my recipe/index cards.

Onto My Day:
My day was spent watching another Walking Dead marathon :)  Season 2 today. Loved It :)
I also caught up on my book work and worked on my stamp organization.
I had started a stamp book for when I go on vacation so I have a record of which stamps I have.
I haven't updated it in a long, long time. So I was doing this while watching my zombies.

Have to go Walking Dead Season 3 starts in 7 minutes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hope you all had a creative Sunday :)

Tracy :)

  1. Glad to hear you enjoyed your day and your zombie marathon.
    Cute little mummy!!!!

  2. Cutest of mummies! Enjoy your new season!

  3. He's the cutest mummy evah! I'm glad you didn't cover the paper as it is awesome.

  4. Oh cool-that patterned paper is so neat. Love that cute mummy.

  5. Cute little mummy...don't let the Zombies get him!

  6. Oh no...did I miss the beginning of the new season?! Ack! My 19 year old got me hooked on the show over the summer. Anyway...your mummy card is precious!

  7. that is just the cutest mummy i have ever seen!! looks awesome!

my hubby is so excited for the new season as well!

  8. What a cutie! I also like the happy halloween sign and the pumpkin paper.

  9. Eeek! I love this litle guy. You did such a fab job coloring him. The Walking Dead is like a train wreck for me- I watch through my fingers, swear I won't watch again, get nightmares, and then end up watching more later anyway. :P But I can't help wanting to know how everyone is doing and who is surviving!!!

  10. Great backing paper can understand you not wanting to hide it. Love that image though so fun. TFS

  11. Sounds like you had a productive day! That is the cutest mummy ever! Love your card. :)

  12. Ahhhh! Love that card, Tracy!! Such a cute little mummy! :)

  13. Aw, he is just adorable!!! What a cute card!

The stamp guide is a really good idea, that way, you don't accidentally buy the same stamp twice!

  14. This mummy is too cute! I love that paper too and see why you wouldn't want to cover it up too much :) I hope you enjoyed your show, I know how much you love it!! :)

  15. Also, that's a great idea to keep a record of your stamps with you when you travel...

  16. I love how you colored the mummy...i imagine whites and shading are most difficult.

  17. This is so cute. It also reminded me of a blog post I recently read. The writer's daughter was dressed as a mummy for Halloween. After the perfect application of torn bed sheet strips all over the little girl, last piece tucked in at the ear, a really bad situation evolved. The poor little girl had to use the bathroom.

Anyway, this is such a cute card and you do them so well.

    Love you - Leslie

  18. Very cute mummy. Loving all the halloween cards!

  19. Someday I should learn to color... looks fun!

  20. (Premier was good!) CC Designs does have the cutest stamps.

Leave me some love and I will return it right back to you :)
