I Skyped today!!!

I am no longer a Skype virgin ;)
I got to skype with a blog/Youtube friend this afternoon.
Can you imagine what we did.....create of course ;)
I made 7 Christmas cards :)
I didn't know what to expect from skyping, but I would do it again in a heartbeat, it was so cool.

But before I did that, I went through my embossing folders and organized them. I will share the finished organization with you all on a later post. But I will tell you, there sure is a lot of packaging to those suckers. Evidence in and around the garbage ;)

Onto My Day:
I got to sleep in again...oh I love to sleep in :)
Then Wayne and I went grocery shopping. Later Ashley and I went to get her a garment rack. I will tell you that girl has a lot of clothes. When she buys her own home she needs a room just for her clothes and maybe another one for her shoes, lol.

Then of course tonight was the Walking Dead....I have a love affair with this show....its okay, Wayne doesn't mind, he does too ;)

Hope you all had a creative Sunday :)

Tracy :)

  4. Skype is one of the best things ever created! It is so wonderful to talk to someone far away 'in person.' Happy organizing!

  5. Skyping is the best. That is how Curtis and I communicated when he was working in Italy for 6 weeks. And then when Caitlin was in Austria for a semester.

  13. I have never skyped, ever. I wanted to about a year ago when my dad was in the hospital and my sisters were there with him, but no one really knew how and they didn't want to figure it out-they were pretty stressed out. I should try someday anyway.

  15. Yay for Skyping! We did it a lot when my brother was studying in Florence, although we don't do it much anymore. When we move again (and I have to get a new computer because I'll have to give back my work one...) I'll start skyping again. This computer just has no camera!

Can't wait to see how to organized your folders :)

  16. How cool is THAT?! Skype and create at the same time. That would be just like having your friend at your table or in your craft room. AWESOME!

Girlfriend, you and your organizing. I love reading about it and seeing the evidence. One problem....my own house says to me "See! She can show some love to her home. What about me?!" :D

I'll get to it after Thanksgiving. There is always tomorrow ;-)

    Love you - Leslie

  17. Tracy, Skyping with you was a total blast. We laughed, talked over each other, cried and created. It was like having a dear friend right here to tell me how to do it. LOL Just kidding. Can't wait to see the storage either. I can't wait till dec 27th. It will be the start of a cleaner/organized room/house. well hopefull
    hugs,pea

  18. It still wasn't me you skyped with lol! I've been egging you on for months now so I'm glad to see you finally took the plunge. It is a lot of fun! In my head the only thing to do is organize and reorganize and reorganize the reorganization. I always think there has to be a better way. I think the only true way is to live a completey minimalist life and own basically nothing, use the same daily basics everyday and never try anything new, buy multiples of the same exact clothes and where the same thing every day and eat the same thing everyday. I'll just keep reorganizing ;)
