A couple more cards

Here are a couple more of my Christmas cards.
Like yesterday's cards they follow the same sketch as Jo's.
But I have used different stamps on these ones.

Isn't this little CC Designs angel so cute :)
I added some sparkle to her wings and halo.

I used a Magnolia image for this one.
Embossed the background paper and used Spellbinders nestabilities to cut out the shapes.
For the Sentiment, I used the $1.50 stamp from Micheal's.
The fancy end of the sentiment, I used a punch...but only part of the punch to get this shape.

I coloured all the images with my Copic markers.
Added some sparkle on her halo, wings and wand.

Remember I mentioned that I was about 5 Christmas cards short. I am running out of time to mail these off and we all know that colouring can take a while.
So I put the cards on my coloured photo copier and copied them. I can not believe how well they turned out. Then I added some sparkle, can't even tell that they were copied...I should have done that at the beginning, lol.

Onto My Day:
Even thought I took a quick way out to make some of my cards today, most of the day was still spent putting them together.
I did some book work and that was about it for my day.
Wayne was planning on staying home today....we were going to do some Christmas shopping.
But he got a phone call this morning that they needed him.
So I decided to wait until he is off to finish...start our Christmas shopping ;)

I hope you all have had a creative Thursday :)

Tracy :)

  1. Can't believe you haven't started your shopping! You are a procrastinator, aren't you? Mine's mostly done and what needed to be shipped gone.
And Curtis gets home tomorrow night.

  10. These are just as delightful as your previous cards. These angels are adorable and your coloring is, as usual, fantastic. I finally got caught up on your posts. I feel better, you on the other hand may not ;-) since I've bombarded your inbox.

    Enjoy your tree and shopping.
