I got Flair ;)

First I have to say, My heart goes out to the families that have suffered from this tragedy in Connecticut. My heart is heavy. I am both saddened and sickened that there are such evil people out there that can hurt children.  Hug your kids and family a little tighter tonight.

My daughters and I love to watch Ellen.
On her show she was talking about these buttons you can get at JC Penny and on the back is a code to win some prizes.
I had also read about the excitement on 2peas about them as well.
When we went to the States I went into a JC Penny and picked up some buttons.
The girls weren't with us, but they also went into the store to pick up some for me as well ;)

When we got home and I read the rules to the contests, you had to be a resident of the US in order to play:(
But that's okay, I can still use these on my creative projects ;)

Onto My Day:
I had to run some errands this morning.
Then came home to Heather humming in the shower. It made me smile :)
I told her thanks for the smile, I loved to hear you humming Christmas songs in the shower.
She was surprised that I was home and heard her. She thought she was alone in the house.

Then in the afternoon, Wayne phones me to tell me he is coming home for the day. He is going to start his holiday's on Monday :)

I hope you have all had a creative Friday :)
Tonight is Friday Night Scrapbooking :)

So did anyone else pick up some flair from JC Penny?
If so, did you win anything?
I was also looking for those cow popper Ellen had on her show you can get from Walgreen's...but they were all sold out :(

Tracy :)

  1. Love the pins! What kind of prizes were there to be won?
    What is a cow popper?

  2. Oh poop...I was just in Bellingham at the target store which is on the mall with Penneys and I forgot! Silly, silly me...I LOVE that elf on the shlf.
DD got one this year the the grands are totally believing it...they love that little elf!

Tinight my frandaughter told me that Samta isn't real. Two boys at school told her! She is only in grade one!
So just when I was almost hyperventilating that she told me before she told my DD, she then added..."I figured it out already that some of the Santa's aren't real. The one that came to our school today was fake and I think most of the ones at the malls are fake...but I think they work for the real Santa...you have to look really closely at his glasses to know if he is fake or not"!!!! hahahahaha

  3. Those buttons will look fab on your cards! And I too am so saddened by the events of yesterday - horrendous and incomprehensible. My two were hugged extra hard last night.

  5. Those little buttons are the best thing JCP has done in their revamp. People just love them and I can see why. They are so cute! They probably never realized how much papercrafters would crave them. TFS.

  6. I've got flair too from JCP, but it didn't even occur to me (yet?) that I could use them on pages. I guess this hectic holiday season has completely addled my brain!

  9. I woke up on Saturday morning (in Australia) to that awful news. Not a great way to start a weekend. What a horrible thing to do.

Those buttons look so cool! Its such a shame that no one in Oz does that kind of thing :( I cant wait to see how you use them on your projects :)

  10. I have 3 of those buttons, I kept forgetting to check that last one to see if it was a winner, but I don't think I won anything anyways. I don't know what I did with it. They're just cute anyway. I got my husband a reindeer pooping toy a couple of years ago as a gag stocking stuffer. He didn't think it was all that funny. Geez, Louise. :?

  11. The pins are too cute. That is sad that you couldn't play, its not nice to leave out a whole country JCP! At least you got some awesome embellishments out of them!

Its funny that Heather was signing when she thought she was alone. I do that all the time. But no one likes to hear me sing!
