My Treasures, Cards and a Whatcha Doin'

Here is another photo of my girls from their photo shoot Ashley  put together ;)
She is not happy with any of the photos that were taken. So she wants to do another one.
I wonder where she gets her perfectionism from, teehee.

Here is another Christmas trash card ;)
Why is that once the photo is put on the computer I find my flaws?
We'll just say this must have been the last one of the evening and my eyes were a little tired, lol.

And yet here is another one ;)

And lastly my set of the blue Christmas cards.
I am happy with these cards for a few reasons:
1. I got to use up some of my scraps and older papers.
2. I finally found a great use for those dimensional stickers.
3. They are quick to do and I got 12 done in an evening.

Onto My Day:
Made a run for the border this afternoon. My SIL, Sharon, Heather, Kristy and I went over the border to pick up some parcels.
I was going to wait until the weekend, but Ashley ordered a dress and she wanted it for her staff party for Thursday. So I figured if I was going to pick up her dress, I might as well pick up everything.
I had to pay $31.67 duty on the parcels....grrrrrr. I have never had to pay duty bringing anything back from the States. I have had to pay it to the delivery guy once though.

When we got home, I had to do some banking, pick up Health insurance for our next trip and a few other errands.
Then came home and totally finished my book work :)

So Whatcha Doin'
Fighting with a giant cold sore on my lip :(  I look like Angelina Jolie and not in a good way. I have put warm tea bags on it to sooth it....and that is actually working.
Listening - To pure quietness...except for the clicking of my laptop keys.
Eating -  Nothing it is after 11:00 pm, to late to eat anything.
Drinking - water. But Heather made me a hot chocolate earlier tonight :)
Wearing - yoga pants, a t-shirt and my old lady sweater ;)
Weather -too cold for me.
Wanting -  to go to sleep. I am just drained today. Even the girls told me to take a nap as I wasn't making sense, lol.
Needing - to hit the hay :)
Thinking -about all the things I have to get done before our little trip :)
Enjoying - The quiet

I hope you have all had a creative Wednesday :)

Tracy :)

  3. I think that's a great photo! But I get it. When I need a photo of just me I'll take 300 shots and I'm lucky if I find one that I like. LOL. I totally get it! Great cards. Love sets like this with the same design but different images. :)

  5. You don't need to throw out those cards with the mistakes, it just shows it was hand made. Great job, beautifully done.

  7. The picture of the girls is beautiful!

I always find my mistakes when I go to blog the picture! A few days ago, I made my whole December Daily page saying "December 10". I didn't realize until after I put it up on blogger. But I went back, changed it and took a new pictures. I didn't want anyone thinking I could time travel :)

I'm sorry about the cold sore, that sounds painful!

Your cards are sure a good way to use up the zillion 3 dimensional stickers I have too! As if I didn't have enough, I bought even more at the scrapbook garages sales this summer!

  15. The cards look great- mine often have crooked parts. I think my head is screwed on crooked. ;0/. they seem straight at first!

  16. I meant to share this on my last post but some of the Christmas cards I'm making made me wonder why I'm putting so much work into them. I thought, they'll just wind up in the trash anyway.
