Simple Christmas Cards for the trash

Remember my 12 Christmas cards I made last Friday night...I forgot to share them with you.
I used the same layout for all of them.
If you think this layout looks familiar, then you're correct :)
I used it for these cards for a card set.
For these cards I wanted to keep them real simple, as you know not everyone keeps our handmade cards...so I know these ones will be in the trash after the holidays.

Because of that, I kept these cards simple.
I used my scraps and older papers. I also used all these dimensional stickers that I had been collecting from Micheals $1.50 bins.
I matted the stickers with pattern papers and white cardstock.
I still have to finish the insides and get them out in the mail.

Here is another photo from my daughters photo shoot that they did last weekend.
This photo is grainy as Kristy took it off of Ashley's computer with her iPhone.
I think they had a great time with this photo shoot.
Thanks Ashley... I love your photos and I especially love the photos you take of the 3 of you :)

Onto My Day:
I stayed up last night until 3:00 am working. I have to get my bookwork done by Thursday so stayed up until I couldn't tell the numbers apart from one another, lol.
But I did balance tonight, so just have to do some finishing touches.
I had a meeting this morning.
Then came back home and Heather and I watched Community as I worked.

I am heading to the border tomorrow to pick up a few packages. So road trip :)
Okay....mini road trip, lol.

Proud Tuesday:
I have only drank 2 cans of Coca-Cola in the last 3 weeks :)
I balanced month end
I am learning my new phone step by step...there is so much more to learn though.
I have lost 3 lbs by just limiting my pop intake.

So what have you done today to make you feel proud?

Hope you all have had a creative Tuesday :)

Tracy :)

  5. I think those are the best, trashiest cards I've ever seen! Lol! Seriously, who would throw that away, it's lovely :) I know people do it though. I send photo cards, I think people have a more difficult time throwing away a picture, ha! I love the picture of the girls! They are beautiful :) I hope you're picking up crafty packages.... ;) congrats on the weight loss, who would have thought pop could have been such a sneaky culprit?

  6. Such great cards, Tracy.
I definitely don't keep whole cards, but I keep pieces of cards to put on one big "christmas card" layout.
I saw Ali Edwards do it a few years ago, and thought it was a great way to remember the cards without having to store all of them :)

  8. These turned out great! I keep it simple too, when I know the card is likely to get tossed. :(

  13. Your cards are fab. I lost a ton of wait ending this past June and have gained a couple pounds each month since. Yikes. I keep trying to get back on track, but I am such a stress eater....I swear I make my own stress sometimes, Laura. Www.whosthischick.com

  14. I did not yell at the adult "helpers" at our outdoor fun day. That is my proud moment. ;0)
If Ashley was the photographer, did she use a timer?

  15. Hey there Tracy, I'm proud that tonight I'm catching up on the blogs of a few friends, of which you are one. You stayed up so late working, wow...I would be totally out of it the next day. Way to go Idaho on losing 3 pounds, the downside? I gained them! ;p
