Some Christmas Cards

I thought I would share with you my more detailed Christmas cards.
They aren't as detailed as most of my cards, but I was trying to keep it simple this year.
I have really love the cards I have been seeing with the white background with the pop of colour.
Then I was on YouTube and saw Jo's cards
They are simple yet so pretty. Plus they are flat for mailing :)
I did add foam tape to the image for a little bit of pop.

I coloured the images in both brown hair and black hair.
I also matched each girls scarf colour to the cardstock frames for the image and the sentiment.
Here is a close up of the brown haired girl in blue :)

Here is the black haired girl in red...I have also done one with the brown hair.
I need to have some order to this, lol.

I also added some sparkle to her ear muffs, hand muff, trim around her coat and booties.

Here is the brown haired girl in purple. Again I did her with black hair as well :)
The sentiment is a $1.50 stamp from Micheals.

Now that my embossing folders and dies are nicely organized, it was so much easier to find what I wanted.

The last one I will share with you is my girl in green :)

I just realized that all the cards I have shared with you all have the same embossing folder. I did also use the swirls as it makes me think of snow swirling around.

Onto My Day:
I put up my tree today :)
Wayne took today off. At first I thought it was to help me with the tree. But nope it was just a coincidence, lol.
He did bring up the containers for me.
Again I kept it simple. I just put on the beads and all my red ornaments and a few cute ones of the girls.
I also decorated the house a bit.

I started to put my addresses back on my laptop. But I didn't have my bigger address labels, so Ashley took over.
She amazes me with what she can do on here. She took a simple template and modified it.

I hope you all had a creative Wednesday :)

Tracy :)

  16. These cards are beautiful! You color so well. I like the touches of glitter to these cards. So sophisticated they look all in white with the single colored image and the sentiments. The die cuts peeking from behind make the scarf colors pop.

    Love - Leslie
