Another Washi cards and some treats

I am really having fun trying out different colour combinations with these washi tape cards.
I thought I would try my hand at a vintage one.
I do like it, but I think my favourite is the pink one I did yesterday.

This was fun, well not really, lol.
I stamped the sentiment on the washi tape just the same as the others, but like I thought, it didn't show up as well because of the colours of these washi tapes.
So I stamped on this film strip washi and adhered it on top of the already stamped  sentiment, matching the stamped one underneath.

Heather and I made some treats today.
I make chocolate/marshmallow eggs every year for Easter.
I was a bit late this year, lol.
I always give Wayne's dad some, as these are his favourite.
One year I gave him a giant one, lol
Well when I went to drop them off to him today, he was so happy.

We also made these pretzel/Hershey hug treats.
The salty/sweet combo is soooooo good ;)

I am so excited for the weekend.
We aren't doing anything special, but I just like to have my girls and Wayne around me during the weekend.
I love that everyone is all together.
Even if we are in different rooms, we are still all together.

I hope you had a creative Friday :)

Tracy :)

  3. I love your black and white card--I like it the best! I make some of those pretzel treats at Christmas, only I put a rollo candy and pecan on mine. Super yummy. Have a wonderful weekend with your family. That is what I plan to do!

  6. Well dang, this one is cute too! Loving the washi cards! Marshmallow eggs sound really good, but those pretzel treats are what would get me. I love salty and sweet together! I love the weekend too. I washed all the windows today, exhausted now. Abie has a tournament tomorrow, her second to last one for the regular season ;)

  7. Your eggs look delicious! Have you tried making the pretzel treats using a rolo instead? When they come out of the oven we smash a nut (we usually use cashews, but any kind would work) on top of the rolo! Yum

  9. Great way to use washi tape. I'm going to give it a try.

I had to look away quickly from the chocolates. I love Easter candy!

The chocolates look delicious. Especially the pretzel ones, salty + sweet is one of my favorite combinations!

  11. I think the card turned out fabulous! Love the washi tape with the stamping! Sadly, I haven't the first bit of washi tape. I forgot about the eggs you make for Easter. Glad you got them made for Wayne's dad. I bet he was tickled to get them!
