I have been seeing a lot of crafters go for a more simplistic approach to their cards and crafts.
The more I see them, the more I like them.
I just find it hard for me to do.
Plus I don't really like how mine turn out when I do them.
I was browsing the web and came across this blog, Sprinkled with Glitter. I really liked the card she made with her washi tape.
So I wanted a go of it.
They came together pretty quick. I made both of these cards in about an hour....which for me was really quick ;)
I used a script background stamp. My stamp wasn't big enough for the
card so I had to piece it together...not liking it, as it didn't match
I then took a white piece of card stock and adhered strips of washi tape side by side.
my sentiment with Staz-On ink. Staz-On ink is a must as the washi tape
has a slick surface and any other ink will smear or wipe off.
Lastly I added some twine and popped it up with pop dots.
For the inside of my cards, I used my index cards, but adhered them to the card with washi tape.
I hope you all had a creative Thursday :)
