Making Ashley's house a Home...Day 4

Another crazy busy day today.
Wayne and I were at Home Depot when they first opened to pick up new door locks for Ashley's house and some other odds and ends.
Ashley is such a go getter.
I thought we would focus on the inside of the house and then work on the outside later on.
But nope, she has about 15 different projects going on at once.
One of her project is to level her yard. Especially around the house and the yard, as it sloops toward her house. Which is not good come the winter thaw.
So they had moved all the topsoil. She also put crusher fines down for her walk way in order to lay down her side walk or paving blocks.
I was shocked to see that the whole front flower bed was cleaned out and the blocks removed when I came home from my 4th...or was it my 5th trip back from Canadian Tire.

I again was doing some painting.
Tyler, Ashley's boyfriend, mom came by to see Ashley's house and to help out. So I gave her a paint brush and we did the edging to Ashley's bedroom...or was it her dressing room?
We had a nice chit chat. So much nicer to work when you have someone to talk to :)
We ran out of painters tape so whats a creative girl to do???
Use sticky post it notes of course ;)

Look at these silly Geese, lol.
I took this on one of my many trips to Canadian Tire...or was it Home Depot..
Only in Canada you say, lol.

I was asked what crusher fines were.
Funny as I thought everyone knew.....but being married into a family that has owned a Gravel business for 3 generations, it seemed like second nature to me, lol.
Crusher fines are rocks that have gone through a cone crusher and have been crushed and they have rock powder to them.
They are great for driveways and walkways. When the powder gets wet it kind of binds the tiny sharp rock fragments.
Clear as mud.....I guess you don't need me to explain that one to ya, lol.
Ashley just needed a small load, so they hired a small dump truck :)

I hope you all had a very creative Sunday :)

Tracy :)
