Do you stand in your own Light?

I got a text from Ashley last night to inform me that she was coming over for dinner tonight, lol.
I was a bit busy and as much as I love cooking (see the joke in there ;)  I ordered Chinese food for dinner.
Here is my fortune :)
Isn't this the truth.

Today is Day #9
"Favourite Essentials"
I can never pick a favourite for anything. So I choose my top three
1. My cheater glasses. Not my favourite, but definitely an essential ;)
2. My sparkly pens. I really like my sparkle gell pens. But then again who doesn't like a bit a sparkle ;)
3. Isn't any surprise its my Washi Tape.

Do you have a favourite creative supply that you turn to for almost every project?
Share with me what it is....I may be in need of it and don't even know it yet, lol.

I hope you all had a creative Monday :)

Tracy :)

  5. My favourite go to thing is glitter glue aka stickles and some kind of bling hides a multitude of boo-boos. Great fortune, hubby always seems to get mine lol.

  6. I'm so far behind in what is even out there anymore with scrappy supplies that I couldn't offer anything new to recommend. LOL!

I think that many of us stand in our own light...what a fantastic fortune!

  9. What a cool fortune!

I'm not sure what my go to supply is...it changes all the time! Lately I've been using a lot of journaling spots instead of writing right on my layouts. Oh wait! I just realized what I use all the time. My Sharpie fine line pens. Man I love those things!

Although after seeing yours, I want some sparkle pens now too!

  10. I gotta say Distress Ink, Paint and Markers are my go to for everything. In truth I cant even remember the last time I made anything without using atleast one or two of those three lines. My other staple is Glue from a South African company called Dala. They make two types that are indispensible for me - Jewel Bond - which is like white glue but with a tackier feel and a quick set time and Stencil Glue which dries to a strong permanent bond when you glue stuff together or if you just glue one thing and let it evaporate all the liquidy stuff - you get a reasealable restickable bond like Tombow multi glue - but cheaper! Thanks for telling me that you liked my shop window card - the stripy awning is my favourite part.

  11. I'd have a hard time picking a favorite too. How can there be just one? I've been reaching for the washi tape more and more but I'd have to say the one thing I use ALL the time is my set of Bic Mark-It Ultra Fine pens for journaling. I still love them. :)

  12. I can't make anything I'm happy with, without my distress ink for the edges. It just looks naked.

    Great fortune!
