Punch Rack

Remember the CD rack I purchased on my trip?
Remember I was going to use it to store some of my border punches.
Well here it is :)
The Martha Stewart border punches weren't long enough for this stand.
As as you can see neither were the slimmer Stampin' Up ones. So I cut a piece of foam core to use as a shelf for the shorter punches on the bottom.

Oops, I should have got the bigger one :(
Not only is this one full, but I have some that didn't fit in here and need a home.
I do have another idea, but I will have to wait until tomorrow to see if it works.

Because I am sharing how I am storing my punches, I thought I would share how I store all of my punches.
This is my favourite way to store my punches.
I purchased these towel racks from Ikea and hook my punches on them…I have been storing my punches like this ever since I put together my craft room.
I love that they are within easy reach and I can see exactly what I have.
I do have a couple more of these towel racks, but because I am a wee bit on the short side, I don't want to go to high with my storage ;)

Not all of my punches fit nicely on those racks, so I picked up this over the door shoe holder from the dollar store for the bigger block punches.

Day 13 of 30 Days of Thankfulness.
Today I am thankful for my treadmill.
I have had my treadmill for over 8 yrs and it still works perfectly :)
I love it as I get to stay out of the cold weather or the hot weather and still get in my work outs in to help keep my heart strong :)

What I also like about this treadmill, is that it keeps track of my incline (1), time I spent on here (30:13 mins), how many laps (6 lps= 1 1/4 miles), pulse (I didn't activate it) and pace (3.8).
The photo above shows the incline, pace per minute, distance, calories burned, speed.
Because I am a list keeper and like to keep track of this, I have books of my progress, yes I am obsessive.
I have just started up on getting healthy again…I have my daughter Kristy to keep me on track ;)

I hope you all had a creative Wednesday :)

Tracy :)

  1. Great organization! I was at Value Village the other day and saw a bunch of these CD racks. But I couldn't figure out what I would use them for. I don't have many of those long punches. I would organize my room but I'm too busy playing and getting glittery. OH I GOT MY ANTIQUITIES:)

  2. that is so clever!!!! Love the look and so organized!!!

  3. LOVE all your punch organizing, super creative and smart too as you can see what you have. I have a great treadmill that is about 10 years old and it works, too bad it's in Louisiana and not here with me.

  4. wow - what a great idea !! beautiful.
    many greetings

  5. what a great way to store all your punches!!!
i love my treadmill too! i have had mine for close to 5 years and i don't know what i would do without it!

  6. Great use of the CD rack, I have one gathering dust must try it. I keep my smaller border punches in baskets from the $$store. I do have a rack to hang on the wall but need to attach it. My punches are also in a shoe holder on the door it holds two punches per slot, WTG with the treadmill.

  7. I love all of your punch storage!! I am going to pin the towel rack one for when I get a craft room!

That is awesome about the treadmill! Aren't they the best. Its so nice to be able to work out inside (and for me...near a tv to keep me distracted!)

  8. Punches punches punches! Great storage! TFS

  9. That is a great collection of punches and now they are all stored so nicely! Glad you are trying to stay healthy. Not an easy task to do, some days!

  10. Awesome and yes the healthy road is where i wanna go. I miss the treadmill. Might have to look for a new one... I do really want another just not the big VW bus type thing we had. LOL

  11. I love the CD rack idea! I need a better idea for my punches and that just might be it!! I would love a treadmill. I probably wouldn't use it though. Lol!

  12. Woohoo! Good for you working on it! I have been sticking to my workouts!

  13. have yourself some punches! Clever idea to turn a CD rack into punch storage. Looks quite awesome. Good for you keeping up on your walking using your treadmill. Must keep your heart healthy :D

Hugs to you my friend - Leslie

Leave me some love and I will return it right back to you :)
