Punch Rack

Remember the CD rack I purchased on my trip?
Remember I was going to use it to store some of my border punches.
Well here it is :)
The Martha Stewart border punches weren't long enough for this stand.
As as you can see neither were the slimmer Stampin' Up ones. So I cut a piece of foam core to use as a shelf for the shorter punches on the bottom.

Oops, I should have got the bigger one :(
Not only is this one full, but I have some that didn't fit in here and need a home.
I do have another idea, but I will have to wait until tomorrow to see if it works.

Because I am sharing how I am storing my punches, I thought I would share how I store all of my punches.
This is my favourite way to store my punches.
I purchased these towel racks from Ikea and hook my punches on them…I have been storing my punches like this ever since I put together my craft room.
I love that they are within easy reach and I can see exactly what I have.
I do have a couple more of these towel racks, but because I am a wee bit on the short side, I don't want to go to high with my storage ;)

Not all of my punches fit nicely on those racks, so I picked up this over the door shoe holder from the dollar store for the bigger block punches.

Day 13 of 30 Days of Thankfulness.
Today I am thankful for my treadmill.
I have had my treadmill for over 8 yrs and it still works perfectly :)
I love it as I get to stay out of the cold weather or the hot weather and still get in my work outs in to help keep my heart strong :)

What I also like about this treadmill, is that it keeps track of my incline (1), time I spent on here (30:13 mins), how many laps (6 lps= 1 1/4 miles), pulse (I didn't activate it) and pace (3.8).
The photo above shows the incline, pace per minute, distance, calories burned, speed.
Because I am a list keeper and like to keep track of this, I have books of my progress, yes I am obsessive.
I have just started up on getting healthy again…I have my daughter Kristy to keep me on track ;)

I hope you all had a creative Wednesday :)

Tracy :)

  1. Great organization! I was at Value Village the other day and saw a bunch of these CD racks. But I couldn't figure out what I would use them for. I don't have many of those long punches. I would organize my room but I'm too busy playing and getting glittery. OH I GOT MY ANTIQUITIES:)

  3. LOVE all your punch organizing, super creative and smart too as you can see what you have. I have a great treadmill that is about 10 years old and it works, too bad it's in Louisiana and not here with me.

  6. Great use of the CD rack, I have one gathering dust must try it. I keep my smaller border punches in baskets from the $$store. I do have a rack to hang on the wall but need to attach it. My punches are also in a shoe holder on the door it holds two punches per slot, WTG with the treadmill.

  7. I love all of your punch storage!! I am going to pin the towel rack one for when I get a craft room!

That is awesome about the treadmill! Aren't they the best. Its so nice to be able to work out inside (and for me...near a tv to keep me distracted!)
