Cold and snowy

If I had it my way, I would have stayed home all day.
But the girls wanted to go Christmas shopping…even in -40C (with the windchill) weather.
I wasn't suppose to see what they were buying, so I called Ashley to come and meet us at the mall so I could have lunch with her as the other two ditched me, lol.

After the mall, I went to Ashley's to finish the big project…yes finally it is done!!!
I didn't get photos as the glue was drying and it was on its side….so hopefully Ashley will take some photos of it tomorrow when she gets it in place.

Today is day 11 of the Canadian Scrapbooking photo challenge.
"Snowflake" is the prompt.
Many snowflakes made up the background to this photo, teehee.
I took this sparkle snowflake from my crafting stash.
Because I took it during the evening, the lighting wasn't very good. So I played with some filters on my phone.

For Heidi Swapp's photo prompt is was
"Wrapping Paper"
Because I haven't wrapped my gifts yet…okay I will admit, I haven't even bought any presents yet :0
But this is the paper we are using for the outdoorsmen in our family.

I am still working on decluttering the basement.
Man its a big job…only I would start a major project like this before Christmas when I should be doing so many other things instead, lol.

I hope you all had a creative Wednesday :)

Tracy :)

  6. I love the photos! That snowflake is gorgeous. I am nearly done Christmas shopping - just a couple more things to get, stocking stuffers mainly :-) Then next week, before the girls finish school, I will get the wrapping done.

  9. Whoa, girl! That is some serious cold to produce a snowflake that BIG! LOL Your wrapping paper is something I have not seen before. I like the images on it. Now that's for some real outdoor-sy folks....the ones that brave the cold :D

Retirement. That is what happens when you no longer have the demands of something else taking up your time. You find yourself in the basement :D

Hugs to you my friend - Leslie
