Give away video

This little cutie scared me today.
Our Rose was so deathly ill today, Heather and I rushed her to the vet.
Both the vet and I thought it was her kidneys.
Turns out she was dehydrated from being so sick and she also has diabetes.
Poor Rose.
But I am so happy she wasn't as sick as we thought she was.
Keeping an eye on her tonight as we had to give her, her first shot of insulin.

But on a better note, I did the drawing for my giveaways.

Onto My Day:
I spent most of my day at the vet's office or waiting by the phone for the vet to call.
If you have a pet you know how much a part of the family they are. It sure was a stressful day.

I hope you all had a creative Thursday.
Oh, today is Thankful Thursday.....you know what I am thankful for....Rose not being as ill as I thought she was.
I know diabetes is an awful disease, it runs in my husbands family.
But kidney failure ...even more scary.

Kristy passed her Driving Test :)

I made a card :)
Actually I made it last Saturday ;)
I stamped the image and coloured it with my Copics.
I haven't coloured in so long, I feel a bit rusty on the shading.

I used a border punch in the same colour as the background paper.
I am really happy with how the same colours layered looks.

Here is the inside.
I used my trusty recipe cards and added another border strip.

Onto My Day:
I am so proud, Kristy went to take her test for her G1 (beginners drivers license) and passed.
She was so secretive.
She wouldn't let me tell anyone she was going for it. Not her sisters, her boyfriend, not even her dad.

I was a little worried (as was she) when she took the vision test.
She couldn't see the numbers in the eye tester thingy.
The lady said "You still cant read the numbers?  As of now you have failed the vision part of the test".
Here I'm thinking, My baby is blind!!!
I looked into the machine and could see it perfectly.
The problem was they had it to high for Kristy and she only saw the two round circles.
Once they fixed that problem, she passed with flying colours :)
Thank Goodness.

I hope you all had a creative Wednesday :)

December Daily Video

I finally got around to posting a video of my December Daily's.
If you remember I had made 3 of them....one for each of my girls, Ashley, Heather and Kristy.
If you also remember I was happy when I completed them.
I think I made 2 to many, teehee.
But I would do it again if my girls wanted them for next year, I have a short memory ;)

Here is the video.
I do a quick flip through of each page.

Onto My Day:
Kristy had another exam today.
When I she was done, I picked her up and took her to the Hoito, by her request ;)
Then we ran to the mall, Michael's, dollar store, home to make supper, then back out to get some groceries.
Kristy has the rest of the week off as her exams are all done, so I am excited to see what we do for the rest of the week.

Proud Tuesday:
I am proud that...
I have lost a total of 5.4 lbs since Jan. 1st.
I have been paying attention to what I eat.
I have been cooking more at home, instead of take out.

So what have you done today to make you feel proud?

Hope you all have had a creative Tuesday :)

January Tag

One of my goals this year is to participate in making all of Tim Holtz tags.
I was hoping to do them last year...but did you see one from me last year?  Nope.
So far I am off to a good start, I completed them before month end.
Not much before month end...but I think its a good start for a procrastinator like me, teehee.

Okay so here is my take on Tim's Tag for January.
What do you think?
I'm really happy with how it turned out.
Now lets get into a bit more detail here shall we ;)

Here is a close up of the top of the tag.
After I cut my gears out, I realized, I think we were suppose to use the bigger dies.
Which I have, but I thought they were the smaller ones...oh well. Guess I should read instructions better, lol.

Here is a better look of the bottom part of the tag.
I did use the same sentiment that Tim Holtz used on his, but I did add a film strip stamp as the background.

Used the distress ink on the tag after it was embossed. You know how much I love his distress inks. I use it like Mike's Red Hot...I use that shhhht on everything ;)
One tip that I really loved that Tim shared on his blog, was to cut your embossing folder in the middle on the fold, then you can slip your tag up through the fold. Ingenious.
I really like how flicking water, makes the distress ink make pools of colour.

We were to cut the gears out with grunge paper.
I got excited as I had some....then realized..nope I have grunge board. Totally different.
So what I came up with, was to peel apart the grunge board.
Not an easy task.
I had to cut into the the corner edge of the grunge board and then peel the heck out of it to peel it in layers.

I just picked up this pack of grunge board at Micheals for cheap...real cheap.
It also has letters and numbers in it, and that is what I bought it for.
I never thought I would ever use the squares, but I did ;)
Don't you love when that happens.

One of the techniques Tim shared, was to stamp on ribbon.
This wasn't new to me as I have been doing this for quite awhile.
But I kicked it up a notch by first stamping the tape measure with brown staz-on ink. then I took black staz-on for "January."|

When that was all said and done, I then used distress stain and coloured the rest of the ribbon.
Here is what the ribbon looked like before I added any colour.

Lets take one more look shall we ;)
A few things I had to do different
I used embossing powder on the gears as I didn't have the product Tim used.
I used grunge board pieces for the arrow, as I didn't have the stamp he had.
I used altered grunge board as I didn't have grunge paper.
I used different metal embellishments (like the washer in the bottom corner).
I added a key to the ribbon...just cause I like to add embellishments to my ribbons ;)
But the idea is to try out his techniques. It isn't about making it exactly the same as Tim's tags.

If you have missed it I am doing a giveaway.
Go and check out yesterday's blog post HERE for all the information :)

I hope you all have had a very creative Monday:)
I know I have ;)

A Card and a Tag Video

Here is one of the cards I had made last night for Friday Night Scrapbooking.
I had seen this card HERE, that Dani had made on her blog, and I just fell in love with it.
I thought I had that same punch...guess I had a dream that I bought it.
So I had to use a different punch.
I also liked the pinks she used on her cards. But I used my scraps and I only had the blues that varied in colour, so work with what you have right ;)
I like how it turned out, but I still like Dani's better ;)

Here is the inside of my card.
Plain and simple, but fits the purpose ;)

I was tagged in another video.
2013  New Years Kick Off tag.
I am sure you are getting tired of my face and my chatting, but here it is.
I know I said I was hoping to get my giveaway video up.
But not only was I super busy, but not to many of my blogging friends check out my blog during the weekend.
I guess they all have lives, lol.
So I will put it together tomorrow.

I hope you all have had a creative Saturday :)

My Friday Night Coke and some Scrappy Friends

Awww the cold sugary taste of Coke :)
Today was my day to have my can of coke.
I am trying to be more healthy and one of the ways for me to do this is to kick this habbit.
I won't stop drinking it, but I have cut down to one can a week.
I used to have one or more cans a day.
-I don't drink alcohol, because I don't like the taste. Funny as when I tell someone I don't drink, the first thing they think is I am (or was) an alcoholic.
-I don't smoke, quit when I was about 18. I think I started at 14.
-I don't curse...okay thats a flippin lie, lol

So I figured a can of coke a week is fine.
I sure enjoy it.

Onto My Day:
I put together my give away...so come back tomorrow, I am hoping to have the video up by then.
Drove Kristy to her exam, then she went to Blakes (her boyfriend) and they are going to see the Hobbit tonight.

It was only Wayne, Heather & I for supper tonight, so I decided to get Arby's. Its been  2 weeks since we had take out, and that was for our celebration dinner.
I decided to get a baked potato.
I am telling you, since keeping track of my foods on My Fitness Pal, oh my.
Did you know a Deluxe Baked Potato (whats the use of having a baked potato without all the goodies) has 630 calories...630!!!!
I only ate about half of it, but holy crap. I could have had a Big Mac for less calories.....with extra sauce!

I hope you all had a creative Friday :)
Friday Night Scrapbooking here tonight.
Don't forget to come and visit me tomorrow ;)

Thankful Freezing Thursday

I can't believe this.
Hubby came home for lunch and asked me if I had seen the back door.
Well of course I hadn't, its been so cold out that I have stayed inside of the house since Monday.
Well because of this cold snap we have had, it has actually peeled the paint off of our back door.
I have never heard of this happening.
But I do know what my first home project will be in the Spring ;)

Onto My Day:
I have been a bit pathetic the last few days as I have done nothing.
I have a few projects I want to get done by the end of the month, but I just don't have the oomph to get to them.
Lets hope I have more oomph tomorrow.

 Thankful Thursday
That I am able to just veg if I want to.
My hubby coming home for lunch.
My daughter coming home for lunch each day.
Heather working today.

I hope you all had a creative Thursday :)

I want to wish my daughter Kristy good luck with her exam tomorrow....mind you she doesn't need luck, she has smarts ;)

9 Questions Answered Tag

I was tagged to do a video.
I took this photo to put at the front of the video because YouTube only gives you 3 options to choose from for your cover. And the options are usually with your eyes half shut so you looked stoned, or your mouth contorted in a way that you didn't think possible.
So I thought if I posted a still shot at the beginning of the video, that would be one of my options......wrong, lol.

Here is the video.

Sad thing is I curled my hair with the straight iron today and everyone said it looked real nice.
But you can't tell in the photo or the video...oh well.

Onto My Day:
I did my 1/2 hour walk on the treadmill again today.
Funny thing is, my treadmill says I burn way less calories then My Fitness Pal when I punch it in.
I didn't have to leave the house again today :)
It has warmed up a bit. So I think I need to go out tomorrow...we're running out of food, lol.

I hope you all had a creative Wednesday :)

Savour the Flavour and a Proud Tuesday

It's a sad day for me today.
I have only one chocolate left from my Christmas stash.
I have shared all my chocolates from Christmas with the family, except for these ones.
Ohhh I am going to savour this last one tomorrow.

 Ohhh but looky here.
I found another stash of treats in my scrap room. They were hidden in my tiny pull out drawer.
Why was I worried, I don't think I have ever not had a stash of chocolate hidden in the house.
But shhhhhhh I only know about them ;)

Proud Tuesday:
I did a 1/2 hour walk on the treadmill at a brisk pace (as MyFitnessPal calls it ;)
I have lost about 4 lbs. Slow and steady and hopefully it stays off ;)
Yes and that is still from eating a chocolate every once in awhile :)

Onto My Day:
I have been procrastinating today. I have 2 videos I have been tagged in that I have to get done.
I have so many projects that I want to do, but end up on the computer, just checking and re-checking sites.
I just need to stay off of here for the day. Ohhh imagine the greatness I can achieve if I did, teehee.

Just thought I would share our weather here lately. I didn't notice the cold.....but then again I didn't leave the house today, teehee.

I hope you all have had a creative Tuesday :)
What have you done today to make you feel proud?

Failing at Smashing

Here are a couple of pages I did in my Travel Smash book.
I used my recipe cards to journal on.
I used part of the paper bag, from Blicks, as a pocket for other bits and pieces.

More journaling...this page is more for Wayne ;)

Now you may wonder why my title says Failing at Smashing. Well look at the dates on the pages.
The first page was from 2011. And I have only done until February 2012.
We have gone on more get aways since then.
I think one of the reasons why I haven't kept up is I don't take it with me.
How easy would it be to do a bit while sitting in the hotel room in the evening.
Another reason, I don't like the pages.
Seriously some of the pages freak me out. Like this guy.
I'm sure he is a nice guy, but I really don't want his mug in my book, and I don't mean his coffee mug.
I guess I will be covering up this page ;)

I really love this idea of a Smash book. I know all it really is, is an ol' time scrapbook.
I want to have a few for different topics. Or one that I just fill in as the year goes by.
What I am thinking of doing is making my own book with papers that I really like.

So do you have a Smash book?
And if you do, how do you use it.

Onto My Day:
I texted a blog friend today...quite a bit actually. I bet she didn't get as much done as she was hoping to because of me, lol.  I wonder if she wishes we didn't exchange digits, lol.
I had to go out in this painfully freezing day.
My car starter would run for a minute and then quite. So I restarted it, ran for another minute then stopped. Not impressed as it was -30C most of the day.

I hope you all had a creative Monday :)

Creative Project Planner

I told you yesterday, that I would share with you what I was working on.
Sorry to disappoint you...it isn't a new mini album like some of you had hoped for :(
But what it is, is a ....... I am not exactly sure what you would call it, lol.

I picked up this really pretty journal from Barnes and Nobel when we were down in the States a few months ago.
Not only was it pretty, it was also on clearance.
It is pretty big, 11.5"x9.5"
I don't want to alter it, as it is so pretty as it is.
Oh you want to know what I am doing with this, teehee.

I am planning on making it a creative project planner...hey thats a good name for it ;)
I am going to post the projects I want to make each month and decorate the pages.
I am thinking of also adding tabs for each month, depending on how many pages I do each month.
So far I have 3 pages back and front. Yes I have high hopes to get lots done this month ;)
I can't show my other pages as some of my projects are for some friends and I don't want them to know about them until they receive them.

Even though the paper is pretty thick, my inking seeped through to the back of the page, so I added pattern paper to the back of them. I like this for the added colour and I can use some of my older papers.
I wanted to try my hand at art journaling with all the gesso and such, but for this book I want to keep the pages flat. So I am just going to use my stamps and adhering some papers. But still keeping it pretty flat.

Onto My Day:
I kind of took it easy today. My knees were killing me today, actually the last couple days, but today was a day to take it easy.
Plus today was another freezing cold day...so a good day to stay indoors.

I worked a bit on organizing in my laundry room, you know since my girls stole my storage cabinet for that room yesterday, lol.
Actually now that I think of it....today was a very uneventful day for me.

My best friend's daughter got engaged today...Congrats Kaitlyn :)

I hope you have all had a creative Sunday :)

Snowy day

It snowed all day today.
As beautiful as it was, the roads were slippery.
Here the snow plows are out and cleaning up the streets.
It also warmed up today. Instead of the temperatures being -30C/-22F it warmed up to -12C/10F.
Only in Canada do you think -12C/10F is warmer, lol.
Mind you it has cooled off to -20C/-4F tonight.

Onto My Day:
Wayne started his day by plowing the driveway.
Then we had an appointment.
We ended up going to Canadian Tire to pick up a cabinet that was on sale for 1/2 price.
When we brought it home and put it together, the girls thought it was to pretty to go in the laundry room, so they took it for the downstairs bathroom, lol.
Who wears the pants in this house, lol.

I hope you all have a creative Saturday.
I started on my new project last night and worked on it a bit today.
I will share some of the pages with you tomorrow.

Tracy :)

December Daily's...DONE

Yeahhh, I am finished all my December Daily's.
I can finally start something else...like my Project 365.

So like I had mentioned before, Heather didn't want any journaling on her album.
And as hard as it was, I didn't journal....not one word.
There are a few pages with not any photos on them either. My Heather is a home body, so some days she just vegged at home.
So I told her we need to find some photos of some of her favourite shows or what she likes to check out on the web. They will get filled up.

Hard to tell, but this is Heather's cat, Rose under the tree.

I just thought I would share with you the mess I make when I create.
I wish I could be neat, I even succeed at the start. Then all hell breaks loose and well, this is what happens, lol.
I sit on the chair on the right hand side

 Here is my view.
See it doesn't look as bad, does it?
Yah I guess it does.
And I didn't even show you the floor, lol.

Onto My Day:
I worked on the December Daily..and completed it :)
I cleaned up my work area. Yup all nice and tidy for Friday Night Scrapbooking ;)
I also did a bit of re-organizing. I moved my sewing desk and accessories into the space where my office supplies and book work were kept.
I am also hoping to make that area into not only my sewing area, but also a wrapping and packaging area.
It is a very small area, so we will see if it works.

I hope you all have a very creative Friday :)

Tracy :)

Dec. Daily...yes...still.

I did work on my last December Daily today.
Because Heather doesn't want any journaling on her pages I have to find other ways to fill in the page.
The number one way is to make a border or header.
I am also using up a lot of my stash of dimensional stickers :)
I am so close to completing this project....I can see the finish line :)

Onto My Day:
Went on the treadmill again this morning. I remember a time when I loved my treadmill. I would walk, jog and even run on it. I looked forward to putting my earbuds in my ears and keep pace to the music.
I hope we have that love affair again :)

I went out today....3 times, and the thing that is so wrong about that is it was -25C / -7F and that was without the windchill...brrrrr.
I had to do some errands this afternoon, so figured I would run into Michael's. Well you know since I was out anyway ;)

I noticed this morning that I got my days mixed up. I posted last night thinking it was Thursday.
So here I am with an extra day to my week :)
What would you do if you had an extra day to your week ?

Hope you all had a creative Thursday :)

Its no fun to be normal

So I have nothing creative to share with you today.
Well I do, but I figured you may be so over my December Daily pages.
I will share a video of them when I am completed the last one.

So I thought I would share with you the silly side of me....I know what your thinking...don't you just have a silly side, teehee. I do have a serious side... sometimes ;)
This was from last weekend when my friends and I went to Michael's and I spent too much money ;)
How much fun can you have with a $1.50?
A lot ;)

Then you have Lynne and Denise.
Yes we go out together, scary isn't it ;)

Onto My Day:
I was planning on working and finishing my last December Daily.
But I ended up stripping our bed and washing the sheets, duvet and duvet cover. I also cleaned the house.
I think I may have been Dec. Dailied out.

Today is Thankful Thursday:
I am thankful for....
For being Retired!!!!! :) Okay I won't mention that anymore, teehee.
Cleaning my home..yes I am thankful for that ;)

What are you Thankful for today?
*edited to note that I messed up my days. This post is for Wednesday not Thursday, duh.
See what retirement does to me, lol.

Tracy :)

Proud Tuesday and the last Dec. Daily

I started Heather's December Daily.
2 December Daily's down, the last one is on the table.
Do you notice something with the number tags?
Heather's are green.
If you remember I made 3 sets of red ones.
Heather brought it to my attention that she doesn't like this colour red because it looks kind of pinkish.
Funny as I was thinking of making her's green, as I was making them for this exact reason.

Another thing different with Heather's is that she doesn't want me to journal in it.
Me not journal...preposterous, lol.
But I like to make my girls happy so I will TRY not to ;)
So to fill in the spaces where the journaling should be I have added more embellishments.
Embellishments like this cute rub-on snowman.
This is from my stash from about 15 yrs ago..no lie.
I had bought it for my wood working projects.

Proud Tuesday:

I lost a total of 3.4 lbs in 9 days.
The biggest change I have made is cutting down my pop intake. I have only had 2 cans of pop in 9 days...actually Ashley and I shared one..so really only 1.5 cans of Cokes.
Another change is cutting out our fast food. We did have Chinese that one night though.
My colitis has been active, so that is another factor.

Today I started on the treadmill again.
I am taking it slow and steady.
I don't want to go gungho and then burn out. So I am just planning on doing it 3 times a week, anything extra, is bonus.

So what have you done today to make you feel proud?

Hope you all had a creative Tuesday :)

Tracy :)

2nd December Daily complete :)

So are you bored with my December Daily pages yet?
I am.
Just joking. I really am having fun with these smaller 6x6 pages, but I am so over Christmas, lol.
Good news though I have completed Ashley December Daily.
2 down 1 to go.

I thought I would share this page for my Canadian friends :)
This is from Kristy's album.
When she wasn't feeling that well, I would take her to Robin's donuts for a hot chocolate before school.

Onto My Day:
Today Heather and I stacked all the boxes of my bookwork, photo copier, filing cabnets and fax machine all ready for the new company to come and pick up.
A bit emotional...but like everything in my life..I'll get over it ;)

I hope you all had a creative Monday :)

Celebration meal and another DD page.

I don't know about you, but this weekend sure did seem to fly by and fast.

I did get to work on Ashley's December Daily for a bit tonight.
Ashley's pages are coming out so different than Kristy's.
I was planning on, maybe, using the same layouts for all of their albums.
But the photos are different, Ashley didn't want as much journaling on hers and the papers they picked out are all different.
Kristy's pages were more fun and bright.
Ashley's are more, not sure of the word I want to use...sophisticated?
I'm curious how Heather's are going to turn out.

 I am on day 23 for Ashley's.
I think this may be the first time I have used washi tape.
I picked these up at Michael's yesterday.
You would not believe how many times I had to reposition these. I just couldn't get them perfectly straight.

Wayne the girls and I were going to go out and celebrate our retirement tonight.
But I wasn't feeling up to it and we all agreed that Chinese would be a great alternative.
So here is our fancy dinner ;)  See I even had a coke with dinner.
We will go out for dinner on a later date though.
As of today I have lost a whopping 3 lbs, but after enjoying this greasy, high calorie meal, I am sure that won't be the case tomorrow, lol.

Onto My Day:
Today was a bit of a sad day as I packed up the last of the book work to be sent to the new owners of the company.
I have been doing the book work for over 21 yrs. And packing it up, was a bit emotional.
It was kind of hard to realize that I don't need all this stuff anymore.
I want to sit down and tell the new owners how I do certain things for certain customers. Not that I expect them to do the same as I did, as I am sure they won't.

I hope you all had a very creative weekend and a relaxing and creative Sunday.

Tracy :)

Another DD layout

I didn't get to create today, but I thought I would share another page that I did yesterday.
This is one of the photos that Ashley took last month for their photo shoot.
I bought this really neat Polaroid stamp when we were on our trip.
So I stamped it on pattern paper cut it out and removed the center and attached the photo in the middle. I think it turned out so cool.

Onto My Day:
Early this morning (10:00am...that is early for me on a Saturday) Wayne and I had an appointment at the bank. Then ran to get some groceries.
My friends Lynne and Denise invited me to go with them to Michael's tonight.
When we got there, I received a call (on my cellphone) from Myra. She was asking me about a Tim Holtz die and if it would fit in the cuttlebug.
I asked her where she was, she told me Michael's.
As I was still on the phone with her, I walked to where she was. She looked at me while still talking to me on the phone....then it hit her "Oh you're here" she said. It was so funny.

Lynne and Denise have this little thing they do..whoever spends the most at Michael's is the winner, and they foot the bill for coffee afterwards.
Well I was the winner, lol.
Funny thing was I went there for a couple of sheets of cardstock, lol.

While I was gone my friend Debbie came by the house for a visit.
Sadly I missed her.
Hopefully we will see each other soon.

Thank you all so much for the nice comments from yesterday's post :)

I hope you all had a creative Saturday :)

Retired....

I have some really exciting news.
I am officially retired :)
Wayne and his brother's sold their business, so I am now retired, yahoo.
Freedom 45.

Now onto what you are more interested in....
I worked on my December Daily for Ashley.
I didn't have time to do anything today, in between meetings and phone calls.
But tonight was Scrapbooking Friday.
My SIL, Sharon and our friend Myra came by tonight and I got 8 pages done :)
Ashley did the journaling. Mind you she didn't journal for each page.
I am letting that go, I know not everyone likes to journal as much as I do.

Onto My Day:
Retired !!!
Hoping we can celebrate with a nice dinner out for the 6 of us :)

I hope you all had a creative Friday :)

Tracy :)

December Daily. One down, two to go

I am done!!!!
Now don't get to excited for me, I am only done Kristy's December Daily.
I still have Ashley and Heather's to finish.
But one down...2 to go.

So I thought I would share with you a couple of the pages I had put together for Kristy.
I love this page, of course my girls are on it, maybe thats why ;)
I actually like the layout of this page as well.
I am really having fun with this smaller 6x6 size.
I used a rub-on, on the bottom border strip.

Again I used a rub-on. It is really neat the hearts have a bit of sparkle on them.

As I worked on this mini I fell into my old habits again.
Double page spreads.
Even though the background paper is different there is still a flow to the pages.
It flows because
-the photos and journaling are backed with the same coloured paper.
-the layout is the same, but mirror image.
-the bottom border strip flows along the two pages.
It flows baby ;)

Onto My Day:
Cleaned the house up a bit.
Totally balanced year end...I am now living in 2013 ;)
Worked on Kristy's Dec. Daily most of the afternoon.
Kristy and I made Finn Pancakes for supper.
I cooked some bacon in the oven, I like it better that way. I put it on a rack, so most of the grease dripped off the bacon, into the bottom of the baking dish, and because the bacon was on a rack, it didn't sit in the grease, so so good.

Thankful Thursday:
I am Thankful for

Tracy's Treasures has opened up a FaceBook page and a Dec. Daily sneak.

Today I have finally got to work on the December Daily's that I am making for each of my daughters.
I started putting Kristy's together tonight.
Kristy's was the easiest to start because she wrote down the journaling...in good copy ;)
These are two of my favourite pages.
The page sizes are 6x6.

I like the layout of these two pages.
The top boarder is actually packaging that I had cut down and then adhered part of this border sticker.

Again here I used some packaging. I then stamped the Christmas lights on it and coloured them in with my sharpie markers.
There is shading on the lights, but you can't see it to well with the shine on the packaging.
Another reason why I like this particular page is because Kristy and her boyfriend were goofing off.

Guess what I did today!!!
I finally opened up my Face Book page for Tracy's Treasures :)
My daughter Ashley actually started it for me back in June 2011. I finally activated it tonight ;)
Told you I was the worlds best Procrastinator.....I am working on it ;)
Now I have to get used to juggling 2 Facebook pages ;)

Oh here is the link Tracy's Treasures Face Book Page come by and be my friend :)

Onto My Day:
Today was a mish mash day.
I did a bit of this and a bit of that.
But finally just before supper I started on Kristy's December Daily. I am almost finished hers.
Hope I get to Heather and Ashley's tomorrow :)

Hope You all have had a creative Wednesday :)

Proud Tuesday, Hey fitness pal ;)

I have talked the talk, now its time to walk the walk ;)
I keep saying that I need to get more active, that I need to lose weight.
I have health issues, that working towards both these goals would be a benefit to me.

So I got my SIL, to set up this app on my phone.
Unbeknownst to me, Kristy set me up on my ipad a few months ago.
I am not promoting this, as it is a free app.
Plus it is fun to add your food and such on it :)
I am totally shocked at how many foods and different brands are on here.
It even has Safeway bread or Superstore buns on it..Totally shocked.

I had told you that I would share the good the bad and the ugly with you all on this goal I am working towards.
Well here it goes....I started last Thursday and have lost 1.8 lbs in 5 days.

I have never used up all my calories in one day, but I sure have troubles with my sugar.
Every day I use up my allowed sugars. If I have a pop, I use up 3 times my allowed sugars.
Today I was only over 7 of my allowed sugars.
I use most of my sugars with my breakfast alone.
I knew I was sweet, teehee

Proud Tuesday:
I feel good about my start to being healthier....now I have to work on my activity.
I was able to leave the house today, even if it was to pick up my medicine and a few groceries.
That my family has such a great sense of humour.
Today is post number 1111.
Today was a good hair day for me ;)

So what have you done today to make you feel proud?

Hope you had a creative Tuesday :)

Tracy :)
