Blake's Birthday Card and Mojo Monday Challenge

I was so excited that Graphic 45 commented on my card I posted yesterday :)
Here is what they said "Wow, beautiful! Love the flowers along the edge. Gorgeous job!"
I am sure they comment on everyone's projects, but still it is a thrill..especially since this is the second time they have commented on one of my projects :)

I got to play with my coloured pencils and Gamsol again today :)
This card is for Kristy's boyfriend. He is turning 19 tomorrow :)
What better image to use for a older boy's card then these Tickled Pink images, and Tim Holtz paper.

I used this sketch from Mojo Monday challenge blog.
I have been meaning to enter more challenges (I have only entered one) for the last couple of years.
So here I go ;)

Here is my coloured image.
I am having fun with the coloured pencils. Don't get me wrong Copics are still my favourite, but the pencils are really good for small areas like with this image.

Today was the start of my healthy eating. So I had oatmeal for breakfast.  Looks yummy doesn't it…maybe not as yummy as the banana split I had yesterday though ;)

I also enjoyed a walk on the treadmill  this morning. It is a bit slippery on the sidewalks yet, and where it isn't slippery, there are deep puddles.

I hope you had a wonderful and creative Monday :)

Tracy :)

  1. fun card and sketch!
And how fun that they commented. I think it's nice when companies or dt members take the time to comment on projects. :)
Good luck with the healthy eating. I am doing better but not perfect. Exercise I am doing much better!

  3. Looks like a grat card for a bloke! Great image and colouring. You have got me wanting to try pencil crayons again. I am heading to Michael's this week as they have the Prisma pencils on for half off!

My Express paper is shiny on both sides but slightly chinier on one than the other. Hard to explain. Whenever I go into the shop that sells it, the copic expert isn't in.

I will google it and see what it says!!!

Thanks for the lovely compliment...I always see the errors on my cards and am my own worst critic.!

Super masculine card great sketch glad you found one to enter. I like Tuesday Morning Sketches. (I won there for my SOSS stella card.)

  15. Hi there
Love the cheeky looking guy on the card. I wish I could colour like you. Thanks for leaving such wonderful comments on my blog. I respect and admire your work so much that it truly makes my day when you take the time to comment on mine. Plus you feel like an old friend now, and even though we have never met in person - when you do comment - it is like getting a call from someone you really like.
