Fauxbonichi Set Up

The computer has been stealing my time again the last couple of days ;)
So today I have been catching up in my Fauxbonichi.

I thought I would share with you my pages before I add my journaling or my art.
I start with my blank grid lined pages in my Miquelrius.
I like to adhere 2 pages together with washi tape to make the pages thicker so they can take different types of mediums.
Then I add my header lines, art block (that is the square at the top edge of both pages) and lastly my lines to write what I am thankful for.

After I draw all of my lines, I then stamp the days of the week, the month and the day numbers.
Lastly I add some fun washi tape to decorate my pages :)

I like to use my Fauxbonichi more of a journal.
I do like to try my hand at drawing, so that is what I put in my art block….that and I like to do some stamping and colouring in there as well.

I am pretty good at keeping up with my Fauxbonichi/journal.
But since Wayne and I were gone on our Anniversary getaway, I kind of slacked off.
The more days I missed, the more I felt overwhelmed to catch up.
But just didn't.

Do you ever feel behind on a project so keep putting it off.
Then because it is put off, you get further behind.
I seem to do this frequently…..this happened to me last year when I started Project 365 again.
I only got January completed last year and then stopped.
I have a new mantra this year "Just Do It and Do It Now"…lets see how this works for the worlds best procrastinator ;)

I hope you all had a very Creative Thursday :)

Tracy :)

  1. I have been procrastinating too!! Still haven't started my art journal and it's due this weekend!! May have to ask for an extension!! It was nice to see this last weekend - I love how you coordinate the washi tapes and colours for each month

  3. These are such happy pages and so perfect for this week! My mantra is "just do it" about 90% of the time. I'm not much of a procrastinator. :)

  4. Lovely pages, Tracy! It can be hard to keep up with projects when there are so many inspiring ones to try! :)

  5. I love the Valentiney look of these pages. Sometimes I feel behind, but then I think if I was all caught up what would I do in my spare time? Lol!

  6. Your pages look so fabulous!! I love how you decorated them for Valentine's Day!! I won't even try Project 365 because I KNOW I would get behind and then I'd stress trying to catch up :) Have a great weekend :)
