My day at the Cottage.

Our day started cloudy and cold. 

But it didn't rain, so we spent the whole day outside. 

Our nieghbour's puppy, Lucinda, came for a visit....she sure loved Kristy. 

Kristy was carrying her around....she said she was practicing being an aunty :)

 

I noticed a few weeks ago that someone must have snow plowed into my basin, repeatedly over the winter, lol. 

I found this years ago in an old abandoned homestead. I had of course painted it. 

I thought I would have to trash it, but I didn't want to. 

So I tried to fix it.... I may get a couple more years out of this. 

I am going to repaint it, maybe that will help, lol. 

I brought a few flowers with me to plant.  

I also planted some morning glories and sweet peas. 

 

Then it was scavenger hunt time. 

Kristy wanted Wayne and I to do one for her and she would do one for us.

I have to say the clues she made were harder than ours. 

 

But then again, I am not the best as searching lol. 

 

We ended our busy day with a nice long quad ride. 

We all love to ride :). 

 

We also love to see the animal life all around us. 

We saw a few bunnies and 3 painted turtles. 

One was upside down and was having trouble turning itself upright, so I helped him out. 

They say turtles are slow...I disagree, this little guy was camera shy and ran under the brush pretty quickly.
