The planting begins

Last night my daughter and I went to a nursery  and we went a bit crazy. Lol
But everything was so pretty.

I shared with you last week that I had to majorly weed my front flower bed (actually all of my flower beds need a good weeding).
I couldn't resist these beautiful hanging baskets.
I usually make my own, but these were just so pretty and done already ;)

This is my side door.
The one we manly use.

Ashley and I fell in love with these wooden barrels.
It was buy one get one 1/2 price.
So we wee each going to get one, and 1/2 the savings.
But when we saw how they were displayed, one on the other, I told her lets just go for it and get 2 each..which we both did :)
Love how this looks!!!

I just HAD to get this!!!
Isn't this welcome planter so cute!!!

Today I worked on my planter box.
Can you tell its in the shade..look at all that moss!
And yes that is a couple of tree seedlings growing in there. Lol
It is like this every spring.

Because it is in the shade my Impatiens love it here.
In awhile they will spread and be so full.
I made this planter many years ago
My aunt gave me that garden angel about the same time I made this and I love to hear the bells when I water these plants.

These are in my side yard across from our side door.

I had just finished weeding and planting when it started thundering, lightening and pouring rain.
Perfect timing :)

Hope you all have a very sunny creative day.

Tracy :).

  3. All of it is so pretty. I too bought ready made baskets this season; I figured the pros were doing it better & faster than me this year (col). I like the barrels on each other.
