My friend and SIL Sharon brought it to my attention, that I haven't posted in a week.
A Week!!!!
I know I have been kind of busy, but still, I used to blog every single day!!
So first off sorry for putting my blog on hold :(
I figured I would share with you the rest of our trip that my daughters and I went on.
For the second day that we were there, we spent most of the day in Mall of America.
First stop...Magic Pan Crepe Stand...Oh my...I can not tell you how good these are.
I always get banana caramel..sooooooo good.
I want one now.
The Mall was fun, but poor pregnant Ashley had sore swollen feet.
Even after the foot massage, warm tub and ice packs I made for her feet.
But the true shopper that my girls are...they powered through it to shop ;)
The only thing I picked up from the Mall was in the Carhartt store.
Wayne wanted to get the baby some overalls, so I picked up a pair as well as a cap and a toque (beanie) for him :)
I also picked up some Cinnabon twists...yes I am all about the food, teehee.
We stopped off at Target later.
I found some cute Halloween stuff in the dollar bins.
I also found these neat sticky notes (don't remember from where though).
I like the the words "hi" and "hello" are cut out, so fun.
Next morning we set off for our 7 hour drive home :)
Which was a bit squished as we had to keep the one back seat down in order to fit all of that Ikea stuff in the jeep.
Because I was the driver, I was very comfortable though ;)
As always I had a wonderful time with my daughters.
They are so funny and have me laughing all the time...even if the jokes are about me, lol.
I hope you all have a very creative day and I will fill you in with all that I have been doing in the last week or 2 :)

Another fun Adventure...and a crafty haul
Wow it has almost been a week since I last posted....and I used to post daily!!
I guess I have either been busy or lazy ;)
Last Friday my daughters and I went on a road trip.
We had a lot of laughs, and enjoyed our little trip to Minneapolis.
This summer has been full of adventures for me :)
You know I love to shop for crafty goodies, so here is what I purchased on this trip.
We thought we had to waste time before Pine City Scrapbooking, so looked around the dollar store.
Turned out, we didn't need to waste time, don't know what we were thinking.
So I purchased this paper and these mini baby soothers from Pine City Scrapbooking.
Yes, more paper...but its baby paper ;)
I found some goodies in the clearance section :)
Then I went to Blick's Art to pick up the Pastel Spectrum Noir markers.
Sadly, they only sell them on their on-line store :(
I was so sad, as that is what I was really looking forward to getting.
We walked across the lot to The Container Store to have a look around.
I picked up this container that holds 5x7 photo boxes.
I had planned on one day just cutting some dies and punches and these containers will be perfect for that.
I also found tome tags and some cute wood grain mini bags at The Container Store.
Kristy said to me that I can find craft supplies in every store we go into, teehee.
After this bit of shopping it was a trip to Ikea.
Who doesn't love Ikea?!?!
We spent about 2 hours in this store, just taking our time and browsing the showroom.
Then we got to business and got our lists out :)
We had to fold down one of the back seats to fit everything in :)
We fit in everything and all the other shopping we did....glad I wasn't in the back seat, as it was a tight fit back there for our 7 hour drive back home, lol.
After Ikea it was a trip to Target to pick up some breakfast for the next day and of course to check out their dollar bins :)
found some fun planner goodies.
I will share with you my goodies from our second day on our trip :)
I don't want to overwhelm you...even though this wasn't a big crafty haul as I was just away on a crafty trip with Sharon.
I hope you all have a very creative day :)

Kitchen Cupboards Defunkified !!!
Not sure if you all remember I was going through my whole house and organizing it...I even started a series I call "Defunkifying My Life"
I was doing so well and I had documented my whole process.
Then I took a break when the weather got nice, as summer is so short and winter is so long.
Then sadly I lost all of the footage...that was so upsetting and frustrating.
But I still wanted to share my process with you all, so I decided to share anyway.
So because I lost all of my videos, I decided to share with you all the finished cupboards.
I did have some photos (as my phone died soon after my computer ate my videos), so I added them in the appropriate places in the video.
Here is my completed Kitchen Cupboards :)
I hope you find some tips or ideas to help you defunkify your kitchen.
If you would rather watch it on my YouTube Channel...click on my name "Tracy's Treasures24", as for some reason, it doesn't show the full screen on my blog.

So many Pretties
Now aren't these notebooks the prettiest things :)
I was at Home Sense looking for the pastel Spectrum Noir markers (yes, I am still sore at missing out on those). They didn't have my markers but I did come across these 3 pretty notebooks in a pack.
How could I leave them behind!??!
The were just waiting for me to caress them...I mean add them to my collection..no, I mean journal in them ;)
My oldest daughter Ashley is doing pretty good with her photography business, here is her "Facebook page" if you want to check out her photos
She has been getting quite a few clients :)
She wanted something pretty to put the photo discs in, or the jump drive in.
The first one I had made the envelope from scratch.
Then thought I really need to find an even easier way to produce these for her.
I cam to the conclusion to pick up paper disc holders and coin envelopes and cover them with pretty paper instead of making everything from scratch.
I even made some envelope seals to add to the back.
Ashley puts her name on the front with clear labels.
I hope you all have a very Creative Day :)

Got to Catch'em All
It was my son-in-laws birthday last weekend.
But because we were at camp and they weren't we couldn't celebrate it with them.
So last night I invited Ashley and Tyler over for birthday cake to celebrate his special day.
Like so many, my girls and him enjoy playing Pokemon Go...so I thought this was a fun card to make him :)
I had seen this on Pinterest a few times, so not sure who the original creator was.
I just used some of my punches and my Martha Steward circle cutter to cut the biggest circle.
I really was quite easy to make this just by looking at photos.
I went out on a limb and decided to stamp directly on the inside....not a good idea, lol.
The stamps are never mounted on the blocks straight....at least that is my excuse, lol.
So I stamped it on another piece of white cardstock and then mounted that one on red.
I also made this Pikachu with a variety of punches.
My girls giggled at my results, but I thought he was cute, so he stayed ;)
Not my usual type of card, as no colouring or pattern paper was used, but hey, we all have to try new things right :)
I hope you all have a very creative day today :)

It was a colouring kind of day.
Look what I did today !!!
I actually coloured, it seems like forever since I put markers to paper.
I used my Spectrum Noir markers for this cutie.
Only my second time really giving them a go.
I have to say I do really like them, but also have to say, I still prefer my Copics....but like I said this is only my second time playing with them.
I had a couple of friends over today...again seems like forever since I had a craft day in my home.
My one friend (Tessie) is new to colouring and she also just purchased some Spectrum Noir markers....yes I am an enabler, lol.
Tessie wanted to try some funky hair colours, so we had some fun :)
Tessie's card is on the left and mine is on the right.
I knew that Tessie and I would be sharing our markers as neither of us have the full set, but between us we do ;)
So I used some of my overload of washi tape to mark mine so we wouldn't mix them up.
During our down time at the cottage this weekend (so in the evening) I coloured in my Spectrum Noir colour chart.
I so need the pastel marker set!!!!
This is the first time on the computer since last Friday!!!
Hard to believe, right!!!
I am hoping to catch up on a few blogs tonight.
I hope you all have a very creative day :)

My Evening Walk
One thing I love to do up at our cottage is walking the trails.
This here is the pipeline.
When I go for my evening walks I try and stick semi-close to the cottage.
And this is why.....bears.
I know bears are around all day and night, but I don't wander to far in the evening.
Not only bears, but I had also seen some wolf tracks.
I find it funny that I am posting with this bear track as Wayne and I are watching The Revenant and it is at the "Bear" scene!!
I usually take the same few routes on my walks.
Last week I saw this cute mushroom on one of my trails and thought it looked just perfect.
Then walking by it this weekend it looks a little different doesn't it.
I thought it was pretty neat to see such a difference in it in a weeks time.
Isn't this a beautiful view.
This also on the pipeline, but heading in the other direction.
Then this is what I saw a really big helicopter.
I think it was the one the pipeline uses to check the line.
But they didn't go all the way down it, once they saw me, they turned around and went back the way they came...I didn't think I looked that bad today ;)
Heading down the trail to do my last loop towards the highway.
Don't you just love nature.
Went across the TransCanada highway to take a picture of the beautiful sunset.
Then walking into our driveway, I love seeing my repurposed wheel barrel full of impatients :)
Here is my walk on Map My Walk.
Doesn't look it look like a T-bone steak, lol.
I hope you enjoyed walking with me at our cottage :)

My week in Review
This may have happened today ;0
I know, I know....I need more markers or colouring mediums like I need more paper or washi tape.
But these were such a good deal, I didn't have to pay shipping as they were at Home Sense...so how could I not ;)
I have been either busy for fighting off a migraine this last week, so I will do a week update :)
My oldest daughter Ashley has been doing some photo shoots and wanted something pretty to present some of her favourite shots along with the jump drive.
So I made this presentation envelope for her.
This one is for some baby girl photos she did.
I also made one in kraft paper with twine.
I have been finally getting some of my craft supplies in order.
But for me to do that, I needed to clean off my work table so I would have space to sort.
Once I cleaned off the table, I finally unpacked my craft supplies that I purchased on my trip.
I bought 6" of paper!!!!!
I was a bit surprised as well.
Last night I went for a nice long walk with my friend.
We used to do this walk a couple or a few times a week.
I don't think we have done it yet this year....it was a 1 hour and 50 minute walk.
It went by pretty fast, but that what happens when walking and chatting.
Up at our cottage last weekend we painted the trim.
Worst thing about painting.....prepping.
I like the deep red way better than the brown...don't you?
"Leave it to Brian" came to the opening of our new Lowes store last weekend.
Because I was at camp and because Kristy likes his show as well, she went and snapped a photo of him :)
While I was at the cottage I had planned on stamping my Unity stamps in my inventory book.
Can you believe I forgot my ink!!!!
I was so bummed....but I won't forget it this weekend, as it is suppose to rain again this weekend.
On Friday Ashley took the day off of work, so I went over to her house and we worked on the baby's room :)
Kristy but the bassinet together.
That was my week in a nutshell ;)
I appologise for not visiting all of your blogs, but I have been a busy lady this past month.
I can not believe that it is September 1st today...the year is flying by, before I know it winter will be here :(
I hope you all had a wonderful week and were able to be creative :)
