Here are my crazy and fun friends at the Crop & Create event.
It is hard to get us all in a photo together….they are so hard to discipline, lol.
Our friend Sharon wasn't able to make it this year…she was on a bus tour….poor girl, teehee.
Lynne and I took a photo with our missing friend ;)
This is what my friend Debbie and I had for a snack.
Now tell me, who brings healthy snacks to a crop….Debbie apparently, lol.
My neck was stiff from painting the garage trim…..so Lesli gave me a massage….now that is a friend ;)
I have to say she was very good…..I could use another one Lesli ;)
Here is Lesli and I at the photo wall :)
You may recognize Lesli from her blog Vintage Scraps
They had a lot of fun props at the photo wall :)
And here is Caroline and I having some fun with them :)
Oh there we are ;)
Caroline may look familiar as her blog is Caroline's (not so) New Hobby
Since a lot of my friends are into those Adult colouring books, when we went for lunch…Lynne grabbed a few children's activity sheets and crayons for the ladies.
Verna one upped her and coloured it in, lol.
I can not tell you how much fun I have with these ladies :)
I am looking forward to the next crop we attend…..I think the next one will be at my house though.
I hope you had a very creative day :)

Crop & Create Make N Takes
I have been jet setting around (not really ;)) and have been so busy, that I have had this post in my drafts for a while now…thought I had better get this on my blog, before the next event, teehee.
Crop & Create make and takes are always so awesome!!
Look at this adorable owl pendent we made..is this so flippin' adorable!!
I am actually wearing it today :)
I was a bit bothered that the pattern on his belly wasn't centre…but Catherine told me to let it go….hard as it is, I think I can :)
Here is Catherine and I at the photo wall :)
This lady puts on a great and memorial event every year, and my friends and I are so thankful that she does :)
We had a wonderful demo of the Heidi Swapp Mink machine.
I remember foiling with tacky glue and foil sheets…..lets just say, this is way easier and neater to work with ;)
And who did this demo?
None other than Vicki Boutin :)
I have to say this lady is hilarious and has so many fun stories…much to her families dismay I am sure, lol.
As most of you know, I love the Angiegirl images.
this one is a new one, and we were able to colour her in with water colour crayons.
I have never worked with watercolour crayons before….I may stick to my watercolour pencils.
One of my favourite stamp designers/artists is Angie Blom as she is the lady that designs the ANGIEgirls.
My friend wanted to see my art journal (which I have been neglecting this summer) so I snuck out to show Angie…I felt like a kid showing their teacher their work, teehee.
Plus Angie kept me up to date with the kits coming out…enabler ;)
Don't I look tall in this picture, I must have been on my tip toes, teehee.
How cute is this card?!!
The stems of the flowers are made with colour stir sticks…so fun.
This card was taught by Virginia Nebel.
Thank you Virginia for letting me sneak into your class at the end of it to nab your last class kit..I didn't want to miss out on your wonderful kit :)
Another fun and bright card :)
I love that you can showcase a word with that heart die :)
I know my friend Lynne purchased the sticky word tape….so I may need to borrow some of that ;)
The wonderful Kimber McGray taught this card make and take :)
This is the first year that I was able to meet Kimber.
Sweet lady…even though she was up later than she likes to due to her flight mishap :)
I would like to give a big Thank You to all of these ladies.
Without them this event just wouldn't be the same….they are all so friendly and love to chat just as much as I do.
I actually think I did more visiting than I did creating this year….but its all good, especially when we only get to see them once a year :)
I hope you all had a very Creative Day :)

Crafting all Day Long
My day started with my friends Sharon and Lynne coming over and we crafted most of the day :)
Then my friend Debbie came over tonight.
She is interested in Art Journaling and asked if I could show her some things.
I consider myself still new to art journeying, so figured we could learn together :)
This is the page that we created tonight.
We started with stamping with Archival inks on our pages.
I really like the red colour.
Then we added some spritzing….always fun to spritz :)
Added some stencils to our spritzing and stamped a boarder :)
I wanted to see how water colour pencils would work directly on our background.
I was actually surprised on how well they covered.
I had told Debbie that if we didn't like the look, we could re-stamp the image on some watercolour paper and adhere her to the page.
Here is Debbie's art journal page :)
I like the detail she added to her stockings!
Here is my page.
I am torn on how much I like this page.
I may play around with this page a bit more tomorrow…

My day in photos....cottage edition
Some say it's sweater weather.....
Well, here in the Great White North, it's bush jacket weather ;).
But seriously, I only wear my bush jacket up here at the cottage.
It turned out to be a beautiful day.
I took a couple of walks..in between painting and getting things packed away for the end of the season.
I also got in a few rides.
I almost got stuck taking my quad down some new terrain. I said "almost" teehee.
I hope you all have a very creative day.
I'm still playing catch up in my journal
Tracy :).

Ashley's new Ride
You thought I spent a lot on my trip…..my daughter Ashley beat me hands down :)
She bought a new Jeep Wrangler….pretty slick jeep if you ask me.
She has been wanting a new vehicle for a long time…as she has had sole usage of my old one for the last 5 years.
Last Thursday she begged me to come with her to look at them.
And to help her make a deal on one.
I have purchased all of our vehicles….Wayne calls me his little bulldog, as I have always got a good deal on every vehicle we have purchased ;)
Thursday Ashley and I went to look and test drive the vehicle.
Friday we made the deal and she signed the papers.
She was able to pick it up on Monday….I was sad that I wasn't there when she picked it up…but told her to take pictures for me :)
I teased Wayne that I was going to get one as well….he said he was surprised when I came home without one, lol

Ashley has been driving my old jeep for the last 5 years.
Now that I got my jeep back, it will be of use to Heather and Kristy :)
Know what I like about this…..I don't have to drive them to work anymore!!
I usually drove them because I may have needed my new Jeep during the day…yes, we are jeep lovers, teehee.
Onto My Day:
I started to put away my craft goodies from my shopping getaway.
But a silly migraine decided to visit and give me a light show, lol.
So instead of revisiting my new supplies, I went for a nap instead.
Wayne got off of work early, so we went were able to come up to camp early.
It was sure nice to take a nice walk in the crisp fresh air tonight :)
I hope you all have a very creative day.
I plan on working on my journal (Fauxbonichi) tonight :)

Crafty shopping and some Silliness ;)
More shopping today..surprised?!?!
Like my kissie face, lol?
We had time to waste while waiting for Pine City Scrapbooking to open up.
So off to one of my favourite stores…Dollarama ;)
I didn't seen any Halloween washi tape, but found some Christmas ones :)
We took a break from shopping to get a selfie, lol.
Giddy up, lol.
Still had time before the scrapbooking store opened so Walmart it was.
I found my yummy cream horns ;)
And some crafty stuff as well ;)
Another selfie, teehee
Then Pine City Scrapbooking :)
I even bought a few gifts on my trip.
I got Sharon this card kit for Christmas or her birthday.
I had to get her to tell me if she had this one, as she always buys their card kits when she goes there.
I picked up a couple of the new Distress inks, and sprays.
I had these zombie cut outs before, and used them all, so picked up another one ;)
Last selfie of the day :)
We have too much fun when we are together…if that is even possible.
Tonight Sharon and I went to the buffet at the Casino.
Oh my goodness, I ate way to much.
I wasn't going to have dessert, but when I saw what Sharon got, I just had to.
So I was going to get one thing…..I surprised myself, lol.
I got caramelized banana, deep chocolate brownie, peach cobbler, bread pudding, cherry cobbler and some type of gooey square.
And some ice-cream with the caramelized banana.
I was so full, I was uncomfortable.
I won't even say I'll start eating healthy on Monday, lol.
Watched Survivor tonight all alone, while Sharon was down gambling, teehee.
Texted with Wayne as we both watched it ;)
I hope you all had a very creative day :)
Home for me tomorrow….not looking forward to bringing all my shopping down to the jeep in the morning though, lol

More Shopping….Crafts Direct, here we come!
Hold on to your seats…I went a bit crazy.
Today was the day that Sharon and I got to go to Crafts Direct.
I had mentioned yesterday, that we are on a trip….our trips consist of shopping for craft goodies.
Neither Sharon or I are internet shoppers, and the only store we have near us is Michaels.
So when we go on a trip, we shop…and I mean we SHOP.
I felt I needed to explain, that this is not an every day thing…it is more a Yearly thing.
Last year we discovered Crafts Direct in St. Cloud, Minnesota.
It is less than an hour and a half away from where we are staying.
I was pretty excited when I saw that almost everything I loved was on sale.
I was also excited to see that they had "I Am" collection, and it was all 30% off, I saved $24.00 on this :)
Had so get some sparkle and embellishments :)
They also have a Crafts Direct Outlet, close to their store, so of course we had to check them out…even though we were starving from shopping so long :)
See those "Fall" wooden blocks.
I took a photo of them in the store, as I was planning on making them when I got home.
But when I found out that they were under $6.00 for the set…I bought them…they are so pretty.
Ran into Target to pick up some pop (or soda as you American's call it).
But had to checked out the dollar bins.
Found some chalk and kraft banner pieces and black mesh letters…I can feel a project or 10 coming on ;)
I found these calligraphy markers for $5.00.
My old ones are all dried out.
There was also a Michael's in St.Cloud.
We were a bit disappointed with how small the paper crafts section was.
But funny enough, we still managed to find a few things to put in our baskets ;)
They also had a Joann's Fabric and Crafts store.
There must be so many creative people in this town :)
Look at those journals.
I was (again) going to make my own with the centres cut out…but they were on sale, so figured why not ;)
Sharon and I decided to share some of our shopping.
Because these products had multiples, we decided to share them.
I purchased the pastel pearls and she the brighter ones, so instead of us both purchasing the exact same ones, we each purchased one set and will each give the other, half of theirs :)
Same with the stencils and PL cards
Look at this isle of sticker letters…..swoon.
This store is like walking into heaven…or at least one of my ideas of what heaven will look like ;)
After we came back to the hotel, we went for supper and then to gamble.
I even gambled!!
I received $50.00 in free spins and won $35.00.
Once I won I cashed out…I don't think they like me here, they don't make any money off of me…..Sharon on the other hand…..lol
I hope you all have a very creative day.
I am going to go and dream of all the beautiful projects I am going to make with all of my new crafting goodies ;)
