You know I love to host scrapbooking crops in my home and now that the cold weather is upon us, I get to do just this :)
I hosted a 12 hour Halloween crop last Saturday and I had a blast.
My daughter's and I decorated to the max.
Here is the witches table :)
I wish you could really see all of the small details to this!
The bodiless writer.
I love that my daughter printed up a story and put it in the typewriter.
She is so detailed.
Above the typewriter, we have this drawing that my middle daughter Heather drew when she was in high school years ago.
The Halloween banner was from a banner swap I was in that Gale (the happy stamper) put on.
I cute display beside Marilyn, my dress form who I dressed as a witch this year.
My rat skeleton in the cob web covered cage.
If you have noticed a lot of my books were used to give height to some of the display...all of the books were written by Stephen King ;)
Here is Marilyn :)
I later covered the front of the book cases with the same type of black webbed table cloth that Marilyn has as her skirt.
Our Photo wall.
I made the accordion flowers or medallions with pattern paper and the banner was a kit I bought and made from Hobby Lobby a couple of years ago.
Here are some of the ladies that came to my Halloween crop :)
Others came later, but we forgot to take more photos...I guess we were to busy working on our pages.
The Zombie Area
Here is my daughter Ashley and grandson Sawyer (who didn't have an interest in getting his picture taken).
Ashley did a lot of the decorating.
This area was the selfie/dress up area.
I had some costumes in a basket as well as my selfie stick if anyone wanted to take their picture.
I was playing around with trying to get a photo of me in my costume before my friends showed up.
My selfie in the zombie area with my zombie friend, teehee.
My crop was a blast, we all enjoyed ourselves and even got some projects done!!
I also did a video of the decor before everyone arrived so you can see it more detail :)
If you would like to watch it on my YouTube channel here is the link "Tracy's Treasures24"
I hope you are all having a safe and fun Halloween
Tracy :)

Friends and Freebies
I am finally ready to post about the 3 day crop I attended by Crop & Create.
My friends and I look forward to this event every year and we are never disappointed.
Here we are day 1.
We look pretty cute in our handmade shirts don't we :)
Any yes I really am that short, lol.
Here is my awesome friend Debbie and I at the photo wall.
A new day with better lighting :)
Here is me, my friends Ingrid, Lesli (you know Lesli from her blog, Vintage Scraps) and Lynne :)
We were all gifted an enamel pin from Doodlebug.
I got the camper...which is adorable!!
I have to say they are a bit addicting.
I purchased the rest you see here at the crop.
The Crop & Create pin is exclusive to this event and I think they are going to get one made every year!!
I purchased Vicki's pin from Vicki herself.
The rest of them I purchased from the vender, The Scrapbook Cottage.
I think I got a bit carried away, teehee.
The Canadian flag pins and the bunny were gifted to me from my friend Verna...she also gave me a Coke pin...does she know me or what, teehee.
Our goodie bags or Attendee kits consisted of a full scrapbooking kit.
So many of the ladies started their kits day one!!
Lawn Fawn gave everyone their Stamp Shammy.
I have never used one of these so excited to see how it works.
We all received these cute mini mini swatch papers from Pink Paislee.
Vicki Boutin gave everyone one of her pencil cases...how fun is this!
Now for some make and takes!!
Catherine Tachdjian's make and take was this beautiful pendant.
Every year we make one...we have done a square, circle, flower, owl and this year a tear drop.
Funny Story:
Catherine has a strong distaste for gnomes.
Lesli scoured our table looking for one small enough to fit in this shape...funny thing was, she found one.
When she brought it to the table, Catherine jokingly said that there was none left (as they were spread out in front of her) for Lesli, lol.
Catherine's daughter was pretty amused and played along by making sure the gnome would fit into the charm, lol.
Next make and take was from Nicole Nowosad
Isn't this such a cute shaker card.
I should have put more sequins in the cloud, but I always worry that there are so many others that want to make this card, so don't want to use to much or take up to much of time.
Virginia Nebel's make and take was this fun Canadian tag.
Due to me not being able to wait in line, I wasn't able to make Sharon Reimer's (The Scrapbook Cottage) card for her make and take.
But a friend asked if I could have the pieces for it so I could colour it and make it on my own :)
We were all gifted this pack of embossed papers.
We were instructed to bring them to Vicki Boutin's make and take and we could play with her new crayons.
Again I was unable to wait (my body had to be difficult) I was unable to stay for this, but I have so many types of crayons and water colour supplies, I can do this on my own as well :)
We also received a Scrapbook & Cards magazine!!
In my pink Crop & Create tote I jammed it packed with some of my kits I had purchased :)
Here are the wonderful ladies that make this event possible.
I know there are a lot more talented people who are behind the scenes that make this event such a pleasure to attend, but these are the ones that are so welcoming, kind and that we get to meet face to face.
If you ever have the opportunity to attend one of these events, I highly recommend you going..you will not be disappointed.
I hope you all have a very creative day!

Crop & Create!!
You all know how excited I am to host and to go to crops.
But the big daddy of them all is here again in my city and I am super super excited.
Crop & Create has been coming to our city for 5 years and I have been at this event every single year!!
I love it!!!
This year my friends and I made our own t-shirts :)
Cute right!
My friend Lesli picked up my shirt for me, and it was way to big...I didn't feel like going back to exchange it for a smaller size, so I just took it in....took it way in, lol.
But I kept the length as I am wearing leggings and want the bum covered ;)
Here is my friend Debbie and I after we ironed on the logo.
Like with every crop I like to make treat bags for my friends :)
I kept the bag simple and just made a washi tape banner and taped it to the bag on either end.
The best part...the goodies ;)
I added some sweats, as I love my sweets as well as a tag, and some twine.
I also stamped this adorable image by Angie Blom.
This image is perfect for this event as they have a photo wall and have a Polaroid frame we can use for pictures
So I am all packed up and just waiting for my friend Sharon to pick me up.
Can you believe this is all I have packed!!!
But I plan on buying, teehee.
I hope you all have a very creative day today....I know I will :)

Thankful
We have had a very busy weekend and the week looks the same.
Monday was Thanksgiving here in Canada and I always host our family's turkey dinner.
This year my daughter Ashley (who is a photographer) wanted to do some family photos.
As a scrapbooker, my heart jumped for joy :)
Here is my husband Wayne and I with our 3 beautiful daughters <3 p="">
And us with our adorable grandson...this little guy has my heart.
Here is the gang that all came for Thanksgiving this year...we are missing a few family members that couldn't make it this year.
This weekend was also the weekend we closed up (or winterized) our cottage.
We will be going up there to pick up the truck plow on a later date.
Always sad when we go for our last quad ride :(
I woke up early on our last morning at the cottage to this beautiful sunrise.
It was so much prettier in person.
It was like the lake was giving me a view to stick with me throughout the winter.
I will leave you with this photo of my adorable grandson in front of me front yard Autumn display that my daughter Kristy and I put together.
I hope all those that celebrated Thanksgiving enjoyed your day and cherished the family and friends you spent it with.

World Card Making Day
Today is World Card Making Day and I am up at the cottage closing up for the season.
I honestly didn't think I would be able to participate, but I found some fun challenges on "The Scrapbook Cottage" site and really wanted to play along.
I have made 3 cards so far and am having a blast working with what I have here at camp..which isn't much.
I had this La La Land image already coloured, so that helped.
I had coloured this years ago and put it in a photo book that I bring to camp filled with uncoloured images as well as a few that I had coloured already.
I also keep a few different colours of cardstock up here, just for making cards when its a rainy day up at camp.
I also keep 3, 6x6 pattern paper packs up here and for this card I used Sunny Side by Pebbles.
Like I said, I coloured this image years ago..and I can tell, but I might as well use it, right :)
I used my Copics to colour cute little Marci.
The colouring on these photos is off as the sun was going down as I was taking these pictures.
Here is the sketch that The Scrapbook Cottage shared for us card makers to get some inspiration from.
Sketch is from Page Maps.
Have you participated in World Card Making Day?
I am still going strong with my limited supplies :)
I hope you all had a very Creative Day
