Blogger Etiquette and some awards.

Is there a blogger etiquette?
Does anyone know the rules for replying to comments left on your blog?
I try to reply to every comment left on my blog. I can't believe that anyone reads my blog, let alone takes the time out to comment. I am so appreciative.
The only comment that I can't reply to are if they don't link up there blog. Even then I try to find out who it is.

Here is how I organize my comments to reply to.
I have my blogs comments go to my e-mail (thank you Jingle for helping me with this).
I read what they posted, then I go and check out their blog. If they have a new post, I comment. Then I delete the e-mail so I know I replied to their comment.
If they haven't made a new post then I keep their e-mail until they put up a new post. I have a few from a couple months ago :)

Now I have been a bad blogger, as I received these two awards and not collected them
We know they all have similar rules. But I am going to break them today.
Who ever wants to share these awards with me, feel free to post them on your blog.

I received this one from Tabbetha from Tabbetha's Scraps http://scrappintab.blogspot.com/
Tabbetha has the most detailed, beautiful scrapbooking pages. I love her work.
The second award I received from Melissa http://myscrapbooksoapbox.blogspot.com/ She makes some neat embellishments and has lots of cool information. We can all learn something new.
Thank you ladies for thinking of me when giving out these awards. I am sorry I was late in posting them but I do really appreciate them.
Onto my day today. I was taxi again. Ashley still isn't feeling up to par, so I am still driving her to work and such.
I did get my material for my Halloween Wall Hanging. I am excited to start working on it tomorrow.
I also bought an ironing board. I only have a mini one for ironing sleeves. It works for most things, but not for larger pieces of material. Notice I said material and not clothing. Well that is because I don't iron clothing, LOL.
I did some book work today, and cleaned the house today. In between driving.
Hope your Monday was a good one.

Visit with my sister, finished the driveway.

I just erased my whole post, GRRRR

Today my plan was to wake up early and at least, purchase the fabric for my Halloween Wall Hanging. Well my bed was so cozy and warm. I just couldn't do it.

My girls and I went to visit my sister and her two kids. I haven't seen her new house she is renting. Well it is kind of hard to do when she doesn't tell you where she moved to, or THAT she moved in the first place. Ok move on, right.
This is my nephew Eric. He is a good looking boy, but he was goofing off, which he loves to do. My girls love talking to him and laughing with him. They all have the same sense of humor. Here is my niece Amanda. This girl loves to be center of attention. If I could have a quarter of her energy I wouldn't have a todo list left.
Amanda and I were looking at some old photo's. There was a picture of Heather, she was about 5 yrs old. She had a white gauze eye patch on. I couldn't for the life of me remember what happened. I asked everyone, I even phoned my SIL, she couldn't remember either.
Boy I feel like a bad mom.

When we came home Hubby was digging up sod for the driveway. We ran out of crusher fines, so he ran to his dad's and borrowed his mini loader and some crusher fines. Yes, his dad has a stash of this gravel in his yard. Doesn't everybody LOL.

Here is Hubby in the mini loader. Isn't it so tiny, the loader not Hubby. Nothing about Hubby is tiny LOL. I hope you all had a good weekend, and got some crafting in.

Blood, sweat and tears

Ok I lied there was no blood, but there was sweat and maybe I shed a tear.
I took down my heart shaped flower bed today. I really didn't want to do it, but the vehicles wouldn't fit in the driveway. Well I lied again (got to stop doing that) they all fit but its tight and I don't want to scratch or bang my new baby, well I don't want to scratch my 1st baby either. Wayne's truck doesn't matter though LOL.
My brother Darren, who lives the next province over, helped me make this, this is where the tears come in. I am so sentimental.
Here it is. We cemented the pole in, so I had to wait until hubby came home to pull it out. Ya he is that strong. Did it with his bare hands.
If you want to see this in its full glory look here http://tracystreasures-tracy.blogspot.com/2010/06/walk-in-my-garden-pt1-crochet.html Never to be seen again :(

So this is what I did most of the day. I had to transplant the flowers and bulbs to the back yard. Hopefully they will take.
It was chilly today, and windy. I got hot working outside. But I think the wind gave me a chill, as I haven't gotten warm all day. I think I need a nice warm tub.

Hope your having a nice weekend.

Thank You's

What!! No Halloween projects today?
Nope nadda one. I was drained today not sure what is up with that. Well actually I do, I am just in denial. And no I am not preggy. Oh My God could you imagine? I can't LOL.
Nothing Halloweenie but I did some Thank You cards. I have so many to send out.
I drew out a sketch for this elaborate card and then was going to whip them out assembly line style.
Then I got to thinking. Who am I kidding, I have way to many to send out and most of the recipients aren't crafters and don't care anyway. So I came up with these.
I bought the blank cards from the Michael's $1.50 section and prettied them up.
I also picked up some pretty blue ones, that I will work on tomorrow. Hopefully.
Had to get gas today. Look at the price, it went up. Crazy!! $110.9 a liter, not impressed.

Doesn't the sky look menacing. It cleared up an hour later. I thought we were going to get some heavy rains. But nope.
Ok so onto my day, because I know you are all dying to find out LOL.
I was the taxi again. Only difference is Kristy got a ride to school.
Like I said I was drained today. I took a nap this morning. Ok, it wasn't really a nap. A nap to me is like 15 - 20 mins. I think I slept for over an hour.
I knew I was going to my girlfriend Deb's tonight to make some cards. I was so tired, I napped again tonight. I skipped supper to sneak in a few winks.
Had a good time at Debbie's. She worked on some really cute Christmas cards. She is just starting to heat emboss and loves it.
Well that is it for today. Tomorrow I have the joy of widening our driveway. We did it a few weekends ago, but its not wide enough. Now if hubby would have listened to me the first time we wouldn't have to do it again. When I say we I mean Kristy and I.
Hubby will be hunting, Heather will be working and Ashley is helping her boyfriend with a video project he has for school.
I should just say screw it and craft all day. Now that sounds like a better plan :)

Halloween Triangle Treat Box

I finally got my video up and running today. I had to do 2 takes and many edits. I think that my out takes will make it into another Bloopers :)
Here are all of them I made so far.
Here is the video.

A lot of time was spent in my jeep.
Ashley still had her vertigo, so I had to drive her to work this morning, pick her up for lunch, brought her back to work and then picked her up at the end of the day.
Oh ya, I also drove Kristy to school and then picked her up at the end of her day.
Oh ya, I also brought Heather to Chapters for some more of her graphic novels.

Yup that was my day. I did get a nap in again today :)

Thankful Thursday
1. Naps
2. Naps
3. Getting my video out
4. Naps
5. Getting to stay home all day tomorrow

What are you thankful for today.

Zombies at their finest

I am not sure if you are aware of this, but my family LOVES zombie movies.
When my brother was over for dinner, he informed me that AMC is airing a TV series called "The Walking Dead". We are soooo excited!!! This is going to be our family TV show. It starts on October 31. Perfect timing. I'm so excited, oh I think I mentioned this already.
Here is the trailer for the series, if you are interested.
To show how much we enjoy zombies. Ashley had to do a school project in her Multi Media class in college. So she reenacted Night of the Living Dead in photography.
Here is my beautiful daughter Heather eating my arm. I did her make up.This is my picture of Heather trapped in the jeep. My pictures are no way near the quality of Ashley's but I still had to document our family outing :)
The Walking Dead TV series, are from comics, oops sorry Heather, Graphic Novels. Heather and I went to Chapters and she bought the first 2 in the series. I can't wait to read these.
Today was spent running around most of the day. Ashley still has vertigo. Not to bad, but still not ready to drive. So I drove again yesterday. So didn't get to do my video again.
Off to bed early tonight for me.

Halloween Banners Came In Today :)

Today has been one of those days. You know the ones, where you have all these plans (actually more that I could fit in a day) and none of them pan out.
I wanted to do some crafting and a video, on another Halloween treat box in the making.
But my oldest daughter Ashley got vertigo and couldn't drive. She gets it every once in awhile, so do I but not as extreme as she does. So anyway she was able to go to work but not able to drive.
So I drove her to work, picked her up for lunch, drove her back to work and then picked her up at the end of the day.

But I did receive some happy mail today, yeah. The Halloween Letters came in from Gales Banner Swap.
So I guess I did get a video in today :)

Hubby and I ran to Superstore tonight. We only had 1 roll of toilet paper left in the house. House with 4 women in it and only 1 roll of TP= not good.
I couldn't find hubby in the store, so I kept texting him (which I hate doing), so then I phoned him, still no answer. I was getting a bit pissed....I mean perturbed so decided to go to the jeep. Well who pulls up at the entrance? Hubby. He left his phone at home to charge. Ok...so why do we have these stupid things then?

Hope your Tuesday was a crafty one. Mine was, well partially.

So what did you do today to make you feel proud.
1. Didn't freak out on hubby.
2. Made leftovers for supper...give me a break it was a slow day today LOL
3. Hung up my banner as soon as I got it.
