December's layout from SCT planner sketch

I have been making scrapbooking pages!!!
Mind you, all of them have been of my little cutie Sawyer.
One of my many goals for this year is to do more scrapbooking.
To help me with this goal, I have challenged myself to do all of the monthly sketches in my Planner from SCT creative planner.

We have a beautiful book filled with Christmas stories.
And every year my daughters and I would read a story a night, until Christmas.
So I have continued the tradition with my grandson Sawyer.
I read him "Twas the Night Before Christmas" on Christmas Eve.
I love the border as it is the last sentence in the story.

I used these very old rub-on I had in my Christmas stash.
The rub-on pulled apart....but I salvaged it :)
All of the papers are from a Recollections pack...I love the sparkle to the border.

I used this reindeer paper clip I bought last year from Stampin' up.

I used this sketch from the SCT Creative Planner.
I changed up the layout a bit to suit my photos.
I kept the border strip to the side, but turned the rest of the layout.
There is a second page to this one, but I used the layout for February for that one, so I will wait to share that one ;)

Here is the planner that I am using for my creative planner this year as well as where I found this sketch.

I hope you all have a very Creative Day :)

Gambling layout and the Walking Dead :)

Another layout!!!!
Wow that is 6 in one month, more then I have done all year…and the year before that ;)
This is the last layout from the kit I was working on. I did have to add card stock and the brown paper from my stash.
I'm not as happy with this layout, as the colours seem to not flow, but it is what it is.

The photos on this layout are from when my SIL/friend Sharon and I went for a little vaca. just the two of us.
She gambled and I crafted….I don't think my $20.00 would be considered gambling, lol.

Sharon gave me the poker chips from her son's stash ;)
The pocket has more journaling inside.
If you are wondering how it is going to be read after it is placed in the page protector…I cut a small slit in the page protector so the journal card can be slipped in and out. I also have a photo of Sharon's winning pay stub on the back of the journal card :)
All the photos in these layouts were taken with my iPhone.
The photos of the actual layouts look a little wonky, but believe me the photos and embellishments are on the layout straight…I just can't seem to take a good photo of my layouts.

Here is the sketch I followed for this 2 page layout.
The sketch was supplied at the Crop & Create event. This sketch was a challenge they were doing during the event, so I thought I might as well use it for this layout.

Here is the layout as a 2 pager :)

I had shared with you that I adhere my layouts to a tile to keep them from bending or bowing when I photograph them.
I add a bit of light adhesive on the top 2 corners and adhere my layouts to the tiles. The layouts come off easily afterwards.
The tiles are just left over peel and stick tiles from our basement, not ceramic tiles.
Just thought I would share that as well.

Day 17 of 30 Days of Thankfulness :)
Today I am thankful for Sunday.
Because on Sunday comes my favourite show….the Walking Dead!!!
I can not tell you how much I love this show.
Every Sunday, I not only watch the new episode, I also watch last weeks episode.
I think about this show during the week and we even have Walking Dead marathons during the off season.
Can you tell I love this show ;)

Oh and for the record, yesterday's chocolate photo…I was having a marshmallow dipped in chocolate…I had ate the banana dipped in chocolate earlier, teehee.
Talk about chocolate…Kristy found my stash and hid it on me today, lol.
She is serious about me keeping on track with my healthy eating.
But I put up a fight and hid my Bear Claws I bought at Cabalas, no one is taking those away from me, lol..

I hope you all had a very creative Sunday :)

Design Team Day for LBBS..Miss Lily with Net

Today is my Design Team day for Little Blue Button Stamps (LBBS)
Well I used that image from the other day.
I was so excited to use one of Olga's awesome images for July (we could have shared them today), but I ran out of time, with running my sister around town, and then Kristy with her Prom.
So I used the image I coloured up the other day.
Miss Lily with hoop net.

Here is a closer look at this cutie :)
I coloured her up with my Copics, but forgot to put the markers aside...and here I was doing so good at that.

I used the paper pack from Graphic 45's Song Bird.
Honestly this wasn't one of my favourite paper packs of theirs, but I really do like how the papers worked with this card.
I was planning on using the dark paper with the butterfly background as the main focus on this card, and Miss Lily popped so nicely on it as well.
Funny how things change as you create ;)

I also used this sketch from MFT Wednesday's Stamp club.

Again here is the card so you can see how I used the sketch :)

I hope you all had a creative Friday :)
