I forgot to share my February monthly pages in my Planner.
I think February is one of my favourite months to decorate as I love hearts and the colours of pink and red are so pretty together :)
So lets take a closer look.
I had some fun with my washi tape ;)
The pink heart borders, the thin light pink strips and the "Love" are all washi tape.
If I was to ink directly on the pages with a stamp, the ink will probably bleed through to the other side.
I don't want that.
So what I do, is stamp the "cupcakes" on an Avery sticky label, colour it with my markers and then fussy cut it out and then adhere it my page :)
I also had fun with my label maker :)
I first coloured some paper with whichever colour I chose, and then punched out the shape with my heart shaped handheld punch.
I then used my label maker to add the text.
I really like using the label maker…who needs word stamps when you can type out any words or phrases to suit your needs.
It has taken me a bit to get used to these pages as they are different than the ones i had last year….but I think I am liking them :)
I hope you all had a creative Wednesday :)
Tracy :)

Planner Pages and dinner at Ashley's
I made a couple of cards today, but I can't share them yet as tomorrow is my DT day.
So I thought I would share my planner pages with you.
This week I have used washi tape (are you even surprised, teehee)
I also used these epoxy stickers I bought at Michael's in the $1.50 bin.
I know they are going to be a pain to write on, being raised up from the paper, but this is the last week of August, Can You Believe That!!!!!
And being that it is the last month, I will have a monthly calender in between to next week. So we will see how much it hinders my writing.
Ashley invited her sisters over to her house to watch the new season of one of their shows.
She also invited them and me for dinner. As Wayne worked late tonight, I accepted the offer.
Heather, Kristy and I got to Ashley's house before Ashley got home from work. So I did a few more coats of paint on the trim, Kristy started cooking dinner and Heather hooked up Ashley's xbox.
Heather said that it felt like we needed to do something as every time we are at Ashley's house we are working, lol.
When Ashley came home she said how nice it was to come home from work and have us there to talk to. instead of a quiet house :)
Here is the dinner Kristy prepared for us.
Seasoned chicken with cooked fresh veggies. It was very good Kristy :)

After dinner, Ashley and I got to work putting her shelves back into her upstairs hall closet.
I have no idea how they fit in there before we painted them as I had to shave off the ends of the shelves to fit back into the closet.
Good thing we left Wayne's hand planer there. Would have been nicer if it was electric ;)
It was so hot upstairs. Finally I realized it would be a lot cooler in the basement and brought my project down there....of course I was almost done, lol.
I left Heather and Kristy at Ashley's to enjoy their show and I went home to feed Wayne some supper.
But I took a turn to Michaels before heading home and picked up a few goodies for myself ;)
I really like the green washi tape. Even though it is packaged up for Halloween, it is pretty enough to use for any time.
I hope you all enjoyed a creative Tuesday :)

My completed week in my day planner for week #24
I told you yesterday that I was going to share something creative with you today.
So I thought I would share with you my planner pages from last week.
Everyday I plan on doing something creative, and everyday either something happens, or I don't have the oomph to make it happen.
Hopefully tomorrow will be a better creative day for me.
Not sure if you can see what that little blue tear drop sticky note says, but it says "My Week to Drive"
Actually that was my last week to drive, as Kristy's last day of school is this Thursday.
Then exams.
I hope you all have a creative Tuesday :)

Smash, day planner goodies
If you know me, then you know I save most of my creative shopping when we go away and I can shop at the cool crafting stores.
Well today I was missing my friend.
I went to visit her at work, but she was off today.
So I went to a store that we usually go to and I did some shopping :)
I found these date stamps for under $4.00 each.
I haven't used brads in awhile, but these were honkin' big and thought they were fun.
The frixion pens I picked up at Lowery's, they were pricey. I really fought with the thought of paying this much for them...but finally decided what the heck.
They were over $17.00 with taxes for these!
Over the weekend Heather totally cleaned the house, dusted, swept, mopped the whole nine yards.
But in order to do that, she needed to put all my scrappy stuff on the couch. Believe me there was a lot of scrappy stuff around the house, teehee.
So now is the perfect time to try and organize them.
If you are a follower of my blog and know me, then you know that I enjoy creating while Wayne and I watch tv during the evenings.
I want to put together a tote with tools and such in it so I don't have to keep running up and down the stairs. Plus now that it is cottage season I could take it to the cottage and have everything with me :)
Now just to figure out everything I need, with out taking absolutely everything ;)
If you have a traveling tote, what do you pack in it?
After over 3 years of blogging, I have figured out that I could add tags or labels to my posts, lol. See you can teach old dogs new tricks, teehee.
I hope you all have had a creative Monday :)
