Hello my Friend

Hello :)
I put my little mushroom head girl on a card tonight :)
She is a new stamp from CC Designs. I agree with you Beth, she does look like the Cindy Loo Hoo from the Grinch, I think its the dress.
The background paper I pieced together a bit.
The scallops from this paper were on the top and bottom. It was to high for this card so I cut them off, but still wanted to keep it on the card, so I just adhered it to the sides.

The rest of the papers were from my scrap pile.
The "Hello" banner was stamped from an Ippity stamp that I had won, and then I stamped the letters with an old stamp set I had.

Here is the inside of the card.
I know you must be confused. You must be saying to yourself, this can't be one of Tracy's cards as she didn't use a recipe card for the inside.
What I did do was use the rest of the paper from the front of the card. I figured it had the lines on it already, so it was good to go :)

Onto My Day:
I cleaned up part of the basement. It was driving me crazy.
Plus the Union Gas guy had to exchange our meter and had to go in that area to restart the pilot light, teehee.
Then once I got that part done, I moved onto my work area. Well it isn't really my "work" area, it is just an area where I store all the company tickets, invoices for the last few years and extra office supplies.

Then the most exciting part of my day was getting a call from my Canadian friend and celebrity blogger Canadian Nickel Scrap'n. We have been blogging friends for a while now, but this is the first time we had talked on the phone :)
I remember I was so touched when she sent me a card after my dad passed away, I thought that was so thoughtful.
Nicole also got me colouring with Stampin' Up markers, which she is the queen at I must say.

Hope you all had a creative Thursday :)

Tracy :)

  5. That card is just way too stinking cute! I love it. So I see since the paper is from your scrap pile you're hoarding all of your new stuff LOL! I now have the lovely task of cleaning up my basement. Someone put an offer in on the house we are trying to buy so we had 48 to say okay will go through with the sale or give up the house. We are going through with the sale. Low and behold someone came here a second time yesterday because they loved my house and now we have TWO interested parties so it looks like we are going to sell as well! Would you believe one guy has his own business and want's to put it in the basement and asked if I was leaving the desk are down there aka MY SCRAPROOM!!!!! Of all the things. I said it's negotiable. And is it bad that I have stampin up markers and copics and still want the new Letraset Promarkers too?

I'm usually commenting here as paperpilekitten but recently the TypePad login seem to have stopped working on Blogspot blogs (weird, huh!), so I just have to fill in my name instead.

  17. Ah! Sorry I just deleted my comment, I was signed into the account we are using for all the wedding stuff!

But here it is now, on the right account:

I just love the card! She is perfect with those papers and the banner, and your lined paper worked great on the inside!

We had a big clean up last night, AJ's friends/groomsmen are coming for a visit, so I had to make enough room for the pull out bed!
