But I saved a video for you :)
I thought I could sneak down and make a card, but that didn't happen. I have been wanting to try this one card I had seen at Archiver's when we were there in March.
Funny thing is I needed white embossing powder and didn't have any. So when Hubby and I went to Michael's last Saturday, I picked some up. So hopefully tomorrow I will get to try it and share with you.....if it turns out that is ;)
Onto My Day:
Worked all day and evening.
Kristy phoned me when she got out of school to ask if I could give her boyfriend a ride home.
Then Kristy talked me into getting some Persians, yummy. Then I figured that since it was close to supper, I ran to Wendy's and Arby's (ya I cater to everyone), to pick up some food, if that's what you want to call it.
So much for starting to eat healthy.
Went to vote today. Ashley voted as well, I am so proud :)
Hope you had a creative day today.
Tracy
You ate PERSIANS?!!! What?!!! Obviously you're not talking about fluffy cats. What the heck ARE you talking about? LOL.
ReplyDeleteMy thought exactly! I had a persian cat called Buster he was so gorgeous, he's dead now though. what is Persians?
ReplyDeletePersians are a fat-laden, sugar-coma-inducing cake, aren't they? *swoon* I really need to cross the border to try these. ;-) I swear, I do the same thing and will go to two or three different places to satisfy everyone as well. My dad did that. Thank goodness all the fast-food joints are close together in my town. Or, maybe that's not such a good thing. :-P
ReplyDeletelove the diaper cake and once again great video!
ReplyDeleteTracy,
ReplyDeleteI love the diaper cake it turned out great
Hugs
Stacy
Great diaper cake!
ReplyDeleteLove that diaper cake! How nice are you to go around and get everyone food? Ha ha!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea! Thanks for the tutorial. We had freezer pizza last night, but it was fast and tasty.
ReplyDeleteYour diaper cake/cupcake turned out amazing!! Those cupcakes are so cute, I've never seen them. Love the colors and the sparkly tulley stuff you used on them.......very cute!!
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing the tutorial! what a great idea.
ReplyDeleteI've never heard of Persians, but it sounds like it would be a good place to visit.
ReplyDeleteI love your banner you made for that cute little man.
And your diaper cake turned out wonderful
Being sick I have no appetite and we picked up dinner last night-hubby got Taco Johns and I got Chinese. Had half left over for lunch today. See if I can muster up enough energy to cook something for dinner tonight. On antibiotics now for a sinus infection,.
Love the cute banner and the diaper cake/cupcakes look beautiful. What are "persians?"
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing the video.
Great job on the diaper cake!
ReplyDeleteEverything you did for this shower came out so fantastic! I always wondered how you made diaper cakes. Your's is one of the nicest ones I've seen. Usually they are just the diapers with the appropriate colored ribbon wrapped around them and a stuffed animal on top. Sorry you haven't had a chance to make your card yet. I still need to get cracking on my mother's day cards. Looks like I'm going to have to overnight them to Florida at this rate!
ReplyDeleteI was going to ask what are persians, but apparently one of the other commenters said that they were cakes. LOVE the cupcakes. I had seen the cake before, but this was the first cupcake! Thanks for sharing! (Enjoy the takeout)!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the tutorial - I could never get it quite right. The cake looks great.
ReplyDeleteThank you for visiting my blog too. :)
You HAVE been a busy girl! It all looks super sweet!
ReplyDeleteWe sometimes make our fast food rounds, but it drives my DH nuts to do that. It's usually just 2 places anyway.
