Kit leftovers and Day 16 of Thankfulness

Today I actually got to create :)
I finished my 2 page spread scrapbooking layouts I started last night.
I am still working on photographing my layouts.
I use a 12x12 flooring tile to keep the layouts from bowing, but I still haven't got the correct angle to make them a crisp perfect square.

Here are the left over pieces from the Crop & Create kit I have been working from.
The kit was designed to make 4 pages..I got 6 layouts out of it, I just had to add 2 sheets of card stock.
From these pieces I could probably make another page (I would have to add my own card stock). But I am a 2 page kind of girl, so this won't work for me.
I could make some 6x6 layouts or cards with a few of my scraps thrown in.
We will see, but I really do want to totally finish this kit off.

Day 16 of 30 Days of Thankfulness.
Today I am thankful for chocolate.
It doesn't matter in what form.
It could be a chocolate bar, a chocolate cake, my chocolate turtles or a chocolate covered marshmallow ;)
No worries, I got my fruit in today…a banana dipped in chocolate ;)

I hope you all had a wonderful and creative Saturday :)

FNS and Day 15 of Thankfulness

Friday Night Scrapbooking :)
I wanted to use up that kit I had purchased from when I went to the Crop & Create event back in October.
I had to grab some card stock out of my stash and a bit of brown coloured scraps.
But besides that, so far I have been using the rest of the kit.
I am far from completing this layout….hopefully I can get it done this weekend so it doesn't stay on the dining room table all week ;)

Today I spend giving the house a good tidy and clean up.
I even deep cleaned a bit. Like moving the fridge and stove so I could give the sides a good wipe down and wash the floors underneath them.
So today's day 15 of 30 days of Thankfulness.
For today I am thankful for my pretty red vacuum :)
Wayne ran out and bought me this vacuum last year around Christmas as my old vacuums power head stopped working.
I really like this vacuum because it is so so pretty :)
I wish the nozzle didn't have a light on it as it makes it to big to fit in tight spaces. Plus one of my daughters broke the quick release for the power head…so I have to jimmy a stick in there to detach it.
But its oh so pretty ;)

My friend Lynne and her daughter (who is friends with Kristy) came over and we all ordered pizza for supper before scrapbooking began :)
I am NOT a big pizza fan..but I ate 3 pieces..I guess all the cleaning made me hungry, lol.

I hope you all had a wonderful and creative Friday :)

Spring tag, a video and Thankful Thursday

I won this Prima Doll stamp on a giveaway on YouTube.
So I wanted to show my appreciation for the gift by making this tag as a Thank you.
Thank you Debbie :)

I coloured the image with my Copic markers and paper pieced her dress and her shoes.
I used Graphic 45 papers and was excited to see that Graphic 45 commented on this tag on my IG account :)

I made this tag out of a window envelope that your bills come in.
I came up with this idea a couple of years ago.
When I showed it on my YouTube channel, it was suggested to me to do a swap.
One of my subscribers renamed this tag a "Tracy's Tag"…I think I kind of like that name ;)

Here is a video on this tag :)

Day 14 of 30 Days of Thankfulness.
Today I am thankful that Heather made me lunch :)
Why is it that when someone makes you something to eat…it tastes sooooo good ;)
Thank you Heather :)

I hope you all had a wonderful, creative Thursday :)

Punch Rack

Remember the CD rack I purchased on my trip?
Remember I was going to use it to store some of my border punches.
Well here it is :)
The Martha Stewart border punches weren't long enough for this stand.
As as you can see neither were the slimmer Stampin' Up ones. So I cut a piece of foam core to use as a shelf for the shorter punches on the bottom.

Oops, I should have got the bigger one :(
Not only is this one full, but I have some that didn't fit in here and need a home.
I do have another idea, but I will have to wait until tomorrow to see if it works.

Because I am sharing how I am storing my punches, I thought I would share how I store all of my punches.
This is my favourite way to store my punches.
I purchased these towel racks from Ikea and hook my punches on them…I have been storing my punches like this ever since I put together my craft room.
I love that they are within easy reach and I can see exactly what I have.
I do have a couple more of these towel racks, but because I am a wee bit on the short side, I don't want to go to high with my storage ;)

Not all of my punches fit nicely on those racks, so I picked up this over the door shoe holder from the dollar store for the bigger block punches.

Day 13 of 30 Days of Thankfulness.
Today I am thankful for my treadmill.
I have had my treadmill for over 8 yrs and it still works perfectly :)
I love it as I get to stay out of the cold weather or the hot weather and still get in my work outs in to help keep my heart strong :)

What I also like about this treadmill, is that it keeps track of my incline (1), time I spent on here (30:13 mins), how many laps (6 lps= 1 1/4 miles), pulse (I didn't activate it) and pace (3.8).
The photo above shows the incline, pace per minute, distance, calories burned, speed.
Because I am a list keeper and like to keep track of this, I have books of my progress, yes I am obsessive.
I have just started up on getting healthy again…I have my daughter Kristy to keep me on track ;)

I hope you all had a creative Wednesday :)

Some pretties and Day 12

I just fell in love with this…..soup bowl/server.
I don't make pumpkin soup…or soup for that matter…but I just love the look to this.
I love the embossed...de-bossed design on here, the colours, everything about it.
It came with a ladle as well…I won't be using that either ;)
I think this is beautiful…bonus…it was 50% off ;)

Ashley wanted me to go shopping with her last night, but I just wasn't feeling well, so we postponed it to tonight.
Don't worry she went shopping with her sisters last night ;)
So tonight, Wayne fended for himself for supper and Heather and I went out with Ashley.
Kristy didn't join us as she was with her boyfriend.
As you can see I am not good at taking selfless, lol.
But my daughters are the star of the show anyway, so no worries, lol.

Day 12 of 30 Days of Thankfulness.
I am thankful for being born into this wonderful country.
I could have been born in any country, but I was lucky to be born in a place where I am free to have an opinion.
I have all the fresh water that I need.
I am free to be whatever I want to be.
I have fresh food at my finger tips.
I am free to vote.
I have a warm home that my family and I feel safe in.
I love my country…I am not saying it is perfect, but its pretty darn great.

I hope you all had a creative Tuesday :)
I am hoping to get a bit of creating done myself tomorrow :)

Day 11 Remembrance Day

Today is Remembrance Day.
It is also day 11 of 30 Days of thankfulness.
A day to remember and honour those who have fought for our freedom.
I would like to thank all those that have put their life on the line for our freedom…Thank you

Every year in school we had to memorize and recite the poem "In Flanders Fields".

In Flanders fields the poppies blow
Between the crosses, row on row,
That mark our place: and in the sky
The larks still bravely singing fly
Scarce heard amid the guns below.
We are the dead: Short days ago,
We lived, felt dawn, saw sunset glow,
Loved and were loved: and now we lie
In Flanders fields!
Take up our quarrel with the foe
To you, from failing hands, we throw
The torch: be yours to hold it high
If ye break faith with us who die,
We shall not sleep, though poppies grow
In Flanders fields
Composed at the battlefront on May 3, 1915
during the second battle of Ypres, Belgium

I had a visit today from 2 of my friends.
They really enjoyed checking out my creative goodies :)
I hope you all had a wonderful Remembrance Day

So many Crafty Goodies…where to start.

We are home safe and sound :)
Wayne and I had a great time on our little weekend getaway.
I took all my creative goodies out of their bags…they were sad in there ;)
Boy it looks like a lot of stuff ;)
I also picked up 2 packs of cartridges for my Selphy. I can't find them here ;(

If you are wondering why there is a CD rack with my creative supplies. Its for my punches.
I store my punches on a towel rack from Ikea, have been for years. But I have ran out of room, years ago, lol.
I had seen a few other crafters store the longer border punches in the CD rack…I will share with you when I have them in here…hope it works for me. I agonized on which CD rack to get. I didn't have a punch with me, so I hope this one works :)

Day 10 of 30 Days of Thankfulness :)
Today I am thankful for our new jeep.
Not only is she a beauty, but also kept Wayne and I safe on our travels this weekend.
Also she kept my tush warm with her heated seats…cause it was cold this weekend, it was windy and it snowed…brrrr.

I hope you all had a great weekend and had a creative Sunday :)
