This one is for my daughter's friend Janus.
She is also having a baby boy :)
I used some old paper that I have been saving forever…like 15 yrs forever!!
Yes I am a hoarder of paper…but isn't this background paper so cute.
I used my friends button punch for the buttons.
Each button has 3 layers of paper. I adhered the paper buttons on top of each other so they would be more sturdy.
I then used some twine in the button holes and tied them.
Lastly, I popped them up with some foam dots.
The card was looking a bit plain to me.
No matter where I put the greeting, it just didn't look right.
So I added some half back pearls to some of the button centres in the pattern paper.
Here is the inside of the card.
I thought this onsie was fitting for the button and baby pin theme of the paper.
It is a stamp and then I fussy cut it out of the pattern paper.
And my index card for the message.
I am entering another card sketch challenge…look at me go, lol.
This sketch is for the "MFT weekly sketch challenge".
I hope you enjoyed my card and you all have a very Creative Day :)
Tracy :)

ReplyDeleteCute card!!
ReplyDeleteThis is super sweet! Love the banner with the buttons and how you always go the extra mile and decorate the inside. :)
ReplyDeletedarling card :)
ReplyDeleteAwww your paper is really sweet. I've got some pretty ancient stuff in my stash too. I really like the buttons. Real ones can make your cards so bulky for mailing. Really sweet. I'm sure she'll love it. Hugs!
ReplyDeleteSweet and adorable!
ReplyDeletePerfect background for a perfect card. TFS
