Here is the baby afghan I made for Baby Celia π
This is my 5th baby afghan I have made in a year.
This is the first time I used this pattern....every other one I had made, the pattern was a shell pattern and I wanted to change it up this time.
I just love love love the scallop edge on this one with the grey trim on the pink scallops.
Just look at that edge!!!!
I just think it looks so pretty.
I saw this type of afghan on Pinterest and loved how it looked, but when I clicked on the link, it was for the completed afghan, not the pattern.
I really wanted to make this pattern, so I figured out the pattern by looking at the photo.
I can't say if this is exactly as the one on Pinterest, but it doesn't matter, I love how it turned out....so much so that I am making one for a baby boy now.
The pattern is a granny square in a row, so all double crochets.
I was jotting down on scraps of paper what I was doing for this pattern.... on many different pieces of paper, lol
I finally put them all together and wrote down the pattern.
I did a video showing the 2 different types of baby afghans I have made.
If you would like to watch it on my YouTube channel, just click the link "Tracy's Treasures24"
Thank you all so much for visiting me today :)
I started up a new FaceBook group π
I wanted a group where we all could share what we are creating.
So after a year or more of thinking about it...I finally did it!!!
Here is the link and I hope you all join me and share your projects and share your love to other on theirsπ
Here is the Link to my new group "Tracy's Treasures Shares"

ReplyDeleteGorgeous, I love the colours. great you could replicate a pattern from sight.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful, but it's pink so how could it not be beautiful. I like the grey & white accents. Yes I must learn to crochet one day ... but first let me master stamping!
