Happy Fathers Day

Happy Father's Day to all of you Father's out there and to those men who have been a big part of a child's life.
Today we celebrate you!

My grandson Sawyer and I made his daddy a card for Father's day.
It is similar to his mommy's card for Mother's day...but hey, he is only 1 1/2 yrs old so had to come up with a card that will keep his attention and that was in his artistic range ;)
I cut the letters with my Cricut and tacked them on the card while Sawyer used my Tim Holtz paint daubers to colour the card front, then I removed the letters and outlined them as they didn't pop as much as I wanted.

Now to honour all of the Father's in my life.
The first one being my husband.
Thank you for being such an awesome dad!
Each of our daughter's have a place in your heart and each have a bit of your personality and quirks 💗

Thank you to my dad for raising me to be who I am today.
I miss you and wish you were still with us 💗

Thank you to my dad (yes I have 2 dads). Even though we don't see each other as much as we would like to, that we sure have a lot in common and share the same passion for creating and our love of honey 💗

Thank you to my father in law who treated me like his own daughter and I miss you every day. 💗

Thank you to my son in law for being such a caring daddy to my grandson. 💗

And lastly...here is Sawyer creating his daddy's Father's Day card.
He looks like he is having so much fun.
I think he is just happy that grandma actually let him play with her crafty goodies instead of just letting him re-arrange them in my craft room, lol.

Here is the inside of the card.
I used the masked letters for the inside of the card.
I also put this photo of Sawyer creating his card, inside of Tyler's card.

Thank you for visiting me today and I hope you all have a Happy Father's Day.

Tracy 💗💗💗

Happy Father's Day

Today is Father's Day here in Canada, and I would like to wish all those that are a father figure to a child/children a Happy Father's Day.

Last weekend when we were headed up to the cottage, I just grabbed some supplies to keep up there for the summer.
I didn't have my list planned out and we were in a hurry.
So it was a bit difficult to come up with a father's day card as I mostly had bright papers and my images to colour were all of girls.
So I did what I could and came up with this one.
I also made one for my FIL, but I forgot to take a photo as I quickly finished it when I got home as I had a certain punch that I wanted to use.

I want to say a special Happy Father's Day to my husband Wayne.
He is a hard working man who loves his family and even though he tries to come off tough..is really just a big softie when it comes to me and our 3 daughters...and now grandson.

Our weekend was spent up at our cottage and Ashley and Sawyer came up as well.
Kristy had to work the weekend and Heather was sick with a nasty cold and Tyler was waiting at home for a important delivery.
So it was just the 4 of us up there this weekend.
I picked up a stroller for Sawyer so Ashley doesn't have to cart hers back and forth to camp or to my house (as hers is a huge one and takes up so much room in the vehicles).
We had to give it a spin...Sawyer seemed to like it as he fell asleep in it every time we went for a walk.

We had a great time at camp.
But then again, even if I had just sat on the floor and played with Sawyer, I would have a great time this weekend :)

I hope you all had a wonderful weekend.

Tracy :)

Happy Father's Day

Happy Father's Day to all of the great men that raised their children and those that had a part in a child's life.

I made a couple of Father's Day cards.
I normally don't make the same card, but I was in a rush out to the cottage.
I did the stamping before we left home, I grabbed my coloured pencils and coloured these up at the cottage :)

The girls asked Wayne what he wanted to do today.
He wanted a BBQ with his girls, and to watch a movie.
We came home early from camp and all of the girls were sitting in the living room waiting for us :)
Kristy BBQ'd hamburgers for an early supper.
Ashley had to attend get together this evening, so is going to miss out on the movie portion of tonight.
I am so thankful that we can all get together as a family even though my girls are all adults :)

The girls (and I) bought Wayne a new Fitbit as he lost his on Wednesday at work, and is no where to be seen.
He has searched and searched for it…He thinks it must have fallen off when he was on a machine and got run over multiple times but the trucks :(

I hope you had a wonderful, creative day with your family today :)

Tracy :)
