Happy Easter from my family to yours.
Here is my adorable grandson wishing you all a Happy Easter.
I seriously can't get enough of him.
My daughters surprised Wayne and I with a Easter basket full of yummy treats and a gift card for dinner out.
These girls are so thoughtful.
I purchased a Peeps chocolate mould the other day, so Kristy wanted to give it a try.
I usually make marshmallow filled chocolate eggs, but Kristy wanted to try them with this new mould.
The moulds were really deep.
Even though they were delicious, they were sugar overload, lol.
After reading the instructions, we were suppose to place an actual peep inside of the mould after filling it with chocolate.
Take 2...
I don't care how old you are, it is always fun having an egg hunt :)
It snowed today, as it usually likes to do this time of year here.
Just after the snow melts and the hope of Spring is in the air, Mother Nature tricks us to show us who is really in charge with some snow.
But back to the fun stuff.
We had an egg hunt.
Even before Wayne and I had kids we would hide chocolate eggs for each other, even when we were on a trip, we would hide them in our hotel room for each other.
Here is Kristy's find.
Once all the eggs are found, they divide them evenly with each other..so Heather has the same haul.
I had a very busy, yet fun weekend.
I had our Easter dinner on Friday as everyone was off from work.
Then on Saturday I attended a Scrapbooking Crop for Autism....more about that in my next post.
Today is Sunday and spending a nice relaxing day at home.
I hope you all have a Creative Day.
Tracy :)

American Chocolate Bars Taste Test
I have done a few swaps in my time, but I have to say this may have been the tastiest one ;)
My friend Claudia of Mrs.Morrisart, suggested we do a chocolate bar swap.
Claudia and I have done a few swaps together, mini albums and paper scraps and charms.
But when she suggested we swap Canadian and American chocolate bars, I was pretty excited I have to say ;)
I forgot to take a photo of the Canadian chocolate bars I sent her.
But here are the chocolate bars she sent me :)
I was thinking of hoarding them in my craft room and savouring them over the next few months…weeks…okay days ;)
But then I thought I shouldn't be greedy and it would be fun to do a taste test with the family.
So I cut sample sized pieces for those who were home and we rated them ;)
Here are the results of the tasters ;)
It looks like the 5th Avenue won….but I liked the Rocky Road the best…so that is all that matters, teehee

Chocolate Egg Bribe
Yummy :)
Every year I make these treats around Easter.
They are marshmallow filled eggs :)
My Father-in-law loves these and one year I made him one that was about the size of a Nurf football.
I think he polished it off in 2 days…my mother-in-law was not impressed with the speed in which he ate it, as she kept a watchful eye on his eating, teehee.
There is a reason I made these today though.
Remember I had mentioned that I am having Friday Night Scrapbooking tonight as the holiday is on Friday.
Well, I am bribing my scrappy friends with these ;)
Why, you may ask do I need to bribe them?
We got a dumping of snow last night, and it hasn't stopped all day.
So these are their rewards for braving the storm, lol.
I think I am the reason for all this snow though.
I was finally able to take down my outdoor Christmas decorations as the snow melted enough for me to get to them….even though the extension cord for the mini trees is still buried under that snow pile you see there.
Then I put out my hand made bunny on the door.
Yup, I jinxed us.
I am planning on working on my stamp inventory sheet.
I started this many years ago, and need to update it.
I only do this for my cute girl stamps. I will share this in another post :)
I hope you all have a creativeFriday Thursday :)

Turtles, hot chocolate and something cozy.
Today was chocolate turtle making day :)
Every year my friend Myra and I make these yummy treats :)
Today we made 320 of them.
Most of mine are going to be given away as gifts.
Oh I think I see a squashed one…guess I need to eat it ;)
Day 3 of Heidi Swapp's photo a day challenge.
"Cozy"
These are my favourite jammy pants.
I don't sleep in these, but I love to wear them around the house.
Plus my favourite bootie slippers :)
Day 3 of Canadian Scrapbookers photo a day challenge.
"Toasty Hands"
Actually this mug was so flippin' hot I couldn't even hold it, lol.
I was going to crop my head out of this photo, but Kristy told me not to :)
I was at Myra's most of the day, so I didn't get to put my December Daily done today.
I hope you all had a wonderful and creative Tuesday :)
