Kristy passed!!!!!

Kristy took her driving test today…and passed!!!!!!
She only has one more road test to take and then will have her full licence, but I think the rules state, she has to wait a full year before she can take her last test.
The test she took today was a road test, the next one will be on the highway.

Then it was time to celebrate :)

Anytime we want to celebrate something, we usually celebrate with some ice-cream.
Kristy celebrated with Heather when Heather passed her last driving test, so Heather got to celebrate with Kristy :)
Now don't those look delicious :)
Did you celebrate anything today?

I hope you all had a very creative day :)

I have to say a big Congrats to my daughter Heather….

She passed her test for her G licence, so she has her full licence now :)
We celebrated with an ice-cream :)
Don't you just love the purple in her hair!!!

Another day full of wedding prep.

See all of those flowers….some of them were put to making the wedding bouquets.
Ashley wanted the bridal party's bouquets to look like they were picked straight from the field with quite a bit of greenery.
I will tell you it was harder to achieve this look than you would think, lol.
After 4 days of me playing around with different arrangements, I think we finally nailed it :)
For Ashley's bouquet she wanted it similar to the girls bouquets but with a touch of her wedding colours.
But as we were putting her bouquet together, we got a bit carried away when adding the flowers, lol.
Ashley kept asking me if it was too big. I told her you only get married once, go big, lol.
If I had my way, I would have made it into a cascading bouquet, teehee.

I hope you all had a very Creative Day :)

Licence and May's 2014 Tag

First off I have to give a big congrats to my daughter Heather.
She passed her G2 today.
She said she was so nervous that her leg was shaking as she was driving.
Yes that is my brand new jeep that she has been driving.

I finally got around to making May's tag for Tim Holtz' 12 tags of 2014.
I am not sure how I feel about this tag?
Things weren't going right in the ol' craft room today, not sure if it is because I have a bit of a cold, or because I (again) left it till the last minute.

I did a video on the tag, but my camera filled up and I didn't realize it until I went to edit the video and not all of the video was there…I will re-do it on Monday.
But because I have to post it today, I just have photos.

I wanted to keep with the spring colours, as where I live, Spring is just showing itself.
I see a few buds on the trees and the weather is warming up :)

With this month's tag, Tim was focusing on his new embossing folders and playing around with the tag to look like one of his configuration boxes. He also wanted us to actually use some of our treasured embellishments ;)
I love these lightbulbs, so cool. And of course I love this one being it says "Treasures" it has 2 meanings for this tag.
1. Part of my blog name ;)
2. I used some of my treasured embellishments on this tag :)

I also love these pen nibs.
I do (used to) calligraphy, and these nibs are so real looking.
I also popped up the birdcage with the heart on it with some foam tape. I did this because I couldn't get the birdcage and the heart in the oval frame to both fit. And I wanted to use them both. I love hearts :)

Here is the bottom of the tag.
I love that metal heart I adhered inside of that oval frame.
I also love keys. Not sure why?
I know it is all the rage in crafting for the last couple of years, but I have always liked hearts, keys and birdcages.

Here is one last look at the completed tag.
Now the more that I look at it the more that I like it, lol.

Here is a link to Tim's challenge tag on blog :)

I hope you all had a very creative Friday :)
