Today was another December Daily day ;)
On a happy note, I'm done…I completed my December Daily for 2013 :)
I will share a few of my pages each day.
I can't share them all in one post, it would be a bit too long of a post, teehee.
So lets continue on shall we ….
One thing I did notice was I love to put a lot of photos on my pages.
I also love to journal.
Day 11 and 12
I didn't have as many photos so I did one page for each day.
On day 11 I only had my photos from the photo challenges.
I did get to use a couple of embellishments.
I wanted to go all out with decorating my pages…but because of my love of photos, I wasn't able to do that.
Day 12
I used a couple of 1 3/4 x 2 1/4 photos to fit more on a page.
Day 13 and 14
Funny how you can use papers you think are not so pretty and they look fine once they are decorated….or covered up by photos and journaling ;)
Day 13
Day 14
I actually printed out a photo of this snowflake embellishment I made, then thought to myself….why don't I use the real thing, teehee.
It does add quite a bit of bulk to this page, but I like the dimension :)
A few more pages to my December Daily :)
I am so happy that it is finished. And even more happy that I like the pages that I created.
Now to get a start on my Project 365 :)
That is after I clean up my craft laden living room ;)
I hope you all had a very Creative Tuesday :)

December Daily 7-10
Still working on my December Daily.
I feel I need to get this album completed before I can move onto any other project.
So here we go …. Day 7
This is our second day of our mini trip.
Mall of America, my girls favourite mall.
It used to be one of mine, until the took out Archivers…now to find out that Archivers is going to be no longer come February 15th :(
While the girls were shopping, Wayne and I walked the mall and stopped for a few treats ;)
Day 8
Doming home from our trip.
I used this "Warm Winter Wishes" rub-on.
I can honestly say that I have had this rub-on for more then 15 yrs.
Second page to Day 8.
Day 9 and 10
I didn't have that many photos so made a one page spread for each day.
Day 9
I only had photos from my daily photo challenges.
I used a couple of chipboard pieces.
Day 10
Not the best photo of this page, but you can see layout.
Sharon knows how much I love Peeps.
She bought these for me for Christmas…yup I ate them all today.
I guess that means I'm feeling better, teehee.
Onto My Day:
I cleaned the house and then worked on my December Daily today.
Ashley came by for supper tonight…and to do some laundry, as her dryer is on the fritz.
She and Kristy are doing a 30 day eating clean challenge.
They suggested that Wayne and I join them as well.
So I told Wayne we better pig out on all those boxes of chocolates we got for Christmas gifts by tomorrow, teehee.
I hope you all had a wonderful and creative Monday :)

December Daily Days 4-6
I should prepare you for photo overload ;)
I actually had more energy today so I got some creating done :)
I am working on my December Daily.
Day 4
I am adding the prompts for the photo a day challenges with my label maker :)
I am cutting them into flag so hopefully they look more decorative.
I am using Simple Stories page protectors, hence the glare on the photos.
I added glitter to the centres of the snowflakes.
The paper has really pretty red sparkle accents in the corners.
Day 5
I think this paper collection is just so pretty with the sparkle in it.
It is My Mind's Eye, Lost and Found Christmas.
I had to actually look that up for you ;)
I also love this paper pack Winter Wonderland by Creative Imaginations.
I love the outdoorsiness to this one.
Had to look that one up as well ;)
Day 6
This was the day we went for our Mini family vacation to Minneapolis.
I had a bit of fun making this banner with one of my new mini banner punches that Wayne bought me for Christmas :)
I wanted to go all out on these pages, but my style is pretty simple as you can see.
My style may be pretty simple…but not the mess I make when I create, teehee.
Wayne and I watched a few movies, so I set up shop in the living room ;)
You think this looks bad…..then you don't want to see my craft room, lol.
I hope you all had a creative Sunday :)

Airing my Dirty Laundry
So many plans….
I had so many plans I wanted to get done today.
But I needed to do laundry first.
Lots of laundry ;O
I don't think I have done any laundry since I got sick.
But now that I am getting my energy back, I wanted to wash everything in the house. I am hoping to wash this illness right out of here.
But as I was going up and down the stairs to the laundry room, I needed a nice long nap.
I was hoping to work on my December Daily today…but again, that didn't happen.
I did finally eat something with substance.
A lightly toasted tomato sandwich and a can of coke.
Thats right I enjoyed a nice cold can of Coke…but it didn't seem to taste as delicious as usual.
I'll try another one tomorrow, maybe it will taste better ;)
I hope you had a creative Saturday :)

Top 10 Projects for 2013…and a video
I put together 10..okay 11 of some of my favourite projects from 2013 :)
Funny how I didn't think I did much until I actually looked through all my projects :)
So lets get started….
Number 11
My 3 December Daily's that I made for each of my daughters.
This gives me hope that I will finish the one album I am working on now ;)
Number 10
My monthly tags.
I am not sure which one of the monthly tags is my favourite from all the the Tim Holtz's monthly tag challenges.
I am planning on following along again this year..but creating them before month end ;)
Number 9
My planner.
I really did enjoy decorating up my planner pages and even colouring some images to put inside.
I slacked off as the year went along…but this year I am going to worry less about the pages being perfect and use it more.
Number 8
Tracy's Tags :)
I love making these tags and I really love the look of this one.
I made this for a specific person….I still have it, tsk tsk.
Number 7
Another Tracy's Tag.
This one is special, as Graphic 45 actually commented on this one ;)
I actually mailed this out to the recipient ;)
Number 6
Katie's Tag.
I made this tag as a wedding card for Katie.
I really enjoyed creating this to tailor it to Katie's wedding colours.
Number 5
I enjoy altering everyday objects, just to put a smile on my face when I look at them.
This is a stamp cleaner pad. I like this so much, I wanted to keep it, teehee.
But this went out in the mail and my friend really loved it :)
Number 4
One of my books I made.
The inside papers are pattern papers and the outside cover is just chipboard.
I love colouring up these Prima girls.
Number 3
Another "Everything" book.
I like how I pieced together the strips of paper to make a frame.
I also love these gorjuss girls stamps. I added butterfly wings behind this image, she is just so adorable.
Now to actually use these books ;)
Number 2
Cards.
I have made so many cards this year.
I have really enjoyed colouring and being on design teams this year.
Now to just mail out some of these cards so I can restock and make more :)
Number 1
My favourite of all my projects from 2013….
The mantel I made for my daughter Ashley's new home.
She had this idea even before she started looking for a house.
I was intimidated at first to get started.
But I am so happy that Ashely had such confidence in me :)
I love how it turned out :)
It was actually hard to pick my top 10 projects.
So I made a video of all or most of my projects from this year.
Enjoy the show and I hope you all had a wonderful, creative Friday :)

Packed up until next Year
Today was spent putting the Christmas Tree and all the decorations away.
Not a fun task and I needed a nap after I was done…but gave the house a good vacuuming of all the little faux needles and now back to real life ;)
I think this is the earliest I have ever taken my tree down…but then again I don't put it up until the 12th of December
I won't even think of putting away the outdoor decorations until it warms up a bit.
It was -51F here the other day….I don't need to get frost bite while taking them down ;)
About 10 yrs ago, I permanently attached my lights to my tree with zip ties.
It was at the time the new pre-lit or pre-strung trees came out.
I don't care to string lights (as I am sure many don't) so I went to take a closer look at these trees in the store, and figured out how to permanently string my lights…..and haven't looked back.
Did a video to share how I did it :)
I was hoping to work on my December Daily today.
I feel like I am behind this year and the year has just started.
I hope you all had a creative Thursday :)

I won !!!
How did you say Good-Bye to 2013?
Did you go to a party and celebrate with friends?
Or did you just have a nice evening at home and celebrate it with family?
This is the first year I celebrated alone.
We had to cancel our yearly get together we have here as we are still pretty sick.
So decided to watch the Walking Dead marathon to welcome in the New Year.
Ashley was at her house, Kristy spent it with her boyfriend's family, Heather went to bed at 9:30pm and Wayne went to bed at 11:15pm.
So I was on my own….so I watched The Walking Dead and did my tradition of opening the front door to let in 2014 and opened the back door to say good-bye to 2013.
Alone :(
I phoned the girls but they didn't answer…Kristy did phone me back later and Ashley texted me even later.
But I did get a very late phone call from my brother who lives out of town and enjoyed a long conversation with him….I think he was celebrating with a few bottles or cases of beer, lol.
How was your 1st day of 2014?
Mine started off fine, I felt a bit more like myself :)
Then I had to phone the water heater repair guy as we didn't have any hot water.
No biggie.
Until I remembered that before I got sick, I started to de-clutter the basement and had stacks of cardboard that needed to be wrapped and a few other containers that should be moved out of his way.
Have to tell you that just wiped me out. I needed a nap after the repair guy left…guess I wasn't feeling as good as I thought I was.
The highlight of today was when I went to check out Tim Holtz's 2014 tags…I won for my December Tag!!!
I was so excited!!!
I hope you all had a wonderful and creative 1st day of 2014 :)
I have so many ideas and things I want to do this year…but first to make my list ;)
